  No pension no preparation for retirement

  a lot of my ex fellow servants must be now in their seventies, what can you do?.

  no children no money no home.

  it is so sad.. so many decided not to have children as the end was right around the corner and that was decades ago.

  When I was a young fella in August 1975, I started my private Pension, thinking the State Pension here in the U.K would not be sufficient. I was right, though being a J.W, I really did not expect to draw any pension from any source.

  Remember, the End of the World, Armageddon and the New Order were all supposed to kick off in October '75.

  As a serving M.S I was criticised by some Elders, lack of faith and all that, but I said "If I do not draw a pension, then great, but if I have to, I have one".

  I realise now I did not have any faith in the words of those men who ruined so many lives with their Bullshit. Thankfully.

  I came to the firm conviction,years ago, that most of the Writing Dept. and the Legal Dept. do NOT believe to any extent. Some not at all, it is just a cushy life and Career.

  The Writing Dept, because it has always, and still does, use Mind Control and Loaded language etc.etc. If they believed it was the Truth, they would not have to do this, they are like lying Politicians in this.

  The Legal Dept, if they believed they served a loving God, they would not spend their time trying to help in the cover up and protection of paedophiles, and making sure that the poor Victims suffer again, by limiting any rightful compensation as much as they can, to save the Org. from paying what they should.

  These two Departments, along with the G.B are Disgusting and Evil. But J.W's think it is "the truth" and god's Org.

  Not sure I was ever an Activist, I used to be far more active than I am now, on here, on FB and some other places. I really can't be arsed most of the time now. The J.W org and individual J.W's are of little real interest to me, the subject is boring.

  don't know if this subject has been touched on here before, but i have wondered at times, how much literalness can be applied to this messianic prophecy within a paradise setting (assuming one probable interpretation of is.

  the wt presents a mental image of complete harmony between animal and mankind.. does this biblical passage somehow indicate that existing wild beasts will feed on vegetation alone.

  animals are not spoken of living forever in the bible.

  Isaiah was not making a "Messianic prophecy" at all, he is talking of an incoming King in Israel at the time which he wrote.

  I have not made a definitive study of "Isaiah", but I think little can be construed as Messianic, without retro-fitting the idea, as the Gospel Writers did.

  Anything that may be vaguely Messianic would have been inserted by the Compilers of the Hebrew Bible, who worked after the Babylonian Exile, editing, redacting and generally altering the old Texts they did use, probably inventing whole chunks of new content themselves.

  The meme above, George Carlin's as usual cutting and perceptive observation, leaves out one aspect.

  Jehoober OWNS the Universe, all of it, including this tiny, insignificant Blue Planet, therefore, how come he cannot simply direct Funds and Wealth to his chosen Org. ? He did it for King Solomon.

  Why not do something dramatic, like have the J.W's discover Gold or Diamonds on their Property ?

  "Oh, He could not do that". Er ..... He is the Almighty, All Powerful god, and he cannot do that ??

  "Well no, because Satan would say....." So Satan is more powerful ?

  if you're just leaving the witnesses or questioning and toying with the idea of leaving..... life goes by fast.

  and either you rip the band aid off and deal with it or let it fester and eat you alive.

  I really started in earnest my Journey to the Sunlit Uplands of Freedom and Peace just behind you, 15 years ago, after nearly six decades in !

  Those years of "journey" have flown by, I have grown up, educated myself, and become the Real Me and truly, consistently Happy for the first time ever in my life. You cannot be truly happy in the Cult, whoever you are.

  I am so happy for you, may you long continue to enjoy life and receive its Blessings !
