The K.H is a religious building getting relief from taxes because it is open to the public. You are a member of the public, the views you hold are of no relevance, and anyway probably mirror the views of any other member of the public.
Unless they could prove a disruptive act they would be in a dodgy position to throw you out.

I am a terrible pedant, so I was aware that , despite the etymology, they are in effect ,two different words.
It sticks out like a sore wotsit to me when anyone writes the wrong word, which only really matters if you are writing to a JW audience, get something like that wrong and they will focus on that, not your message, so if ever we are producing stuff we want them to read, it is important to get it right.

There was a congregation in Sicily I believe where they left en masse ,about 50 of them if memory serves, the Elders had a You-tube vid explaining it, the WT have proabably got it taken down now, it put the WT in a bad light, it made them look like a high-control Cult for heavens sake !
i have been reading things for a while.
in approximately 20 months it will be the year 2014. that year will be 1914+100 years.
i don't know how the wts is going to get around that if the "present system" is still in existence.
They have had plenty of practise at covering their stupid predictions and their bad interpretation of scripture.

There can be no doubt that some will wake up though, 100 years and counting makes them a laughingstock.
Nobody likes to be looked on as a fool to be laughed at, and JW's are well set up for that to happen.

I think the advice to not "watch only numbers" is because the number of those being baptised in the West has dropped dramatically in the last five years, add to that the number leaving in one way or another, even if simply inactive but still attending, they don't count in the Pubs figure, you can see that good old Losch doesn't want the JW's to look at the figures much at all.
Comparison with other growing religions is very revealing, the SAD's baptise a million a year for instance.
Whichever way you look at figures, unless you look through WT goggles, the religion is moribund.

The Journal of Medical Ethics articles are well written, well argued and well informed, I hope as many Doctors and Anaethetists etc as possible, who are involved in the treatment of JW's, get to read it.

I had a damn good stylish bag just before I left so it got emptyed PDQ, and used for fun things !
I never carried a "Reasoning from the Scriptures" book, either to the meetings or out in service, I found I did not agree with so much of it ! If I ever gave a talk based on it, it was ony vaguely "based", perhaps using the Bible verses quoted, but not much of the argumentation.
Seeing that stuff in your bag Frosty gave me an uncomfortable feeling, I have left that place, don't take me back !!
