  in the declaration of facts, rutherford wrote: .

  the present government of germany has declared emphatically against big business oppressors and in opposition to the wrongful religious influence in the political affairs of the nation.

  That old comment about the Masons is rubbish, Hitler sent between 80,000 and 200,000 Masons to their deaths in the camps, he feared their influence.

  Rutherford was kissing Hitlers ass in the letter no doubt, and the admission that he went along with Nazi principles is a shocker, but it fits with his rabid anti-semitism.

  We have a Unitarian Church not a million miles from where I live where the "Pastor" or whatever they may call him, is an open Atheist !

  Black Sheep just about sums it up, they are almost as silly as young earth creationists. Their attitude is that science must be wrong.

  They question carbon dating, which is reliable up to 16,000 years , then needs a correction in the calculation, if I remember correctly, but usually, because they are not mentioned in the oh so scientific WT and AWk rags, they are not aware of the other methods of dating , which are more often than not used in conjunction with carbon dating.

  As with everything that puts their beliefs in question, they ignore the evidence.

  Questions for former elders on Do Not Call

  what is the procedure for requesting to be on the do not call list.

  what happens when someone requests to be on the do not call list?.

  does a letter need to be sent each year?.

  Easiest thing to do is put a sign up that says :

  "Jehovahs' Witnesses DO NOT CALL or Leave any Publications.

  Please see JWFacts.com"

  You might have to whip it down a bit smartish if your Dubbie relatives are going to visit and you are a fader, but the rest of the time that should work.

  No reason why you should not write a letter every year if you prefer, but the information about your so doing would not be viewed as confidential, nothing is in Dubbie Land.

  while many of us yankees will be eating irish stew & corned beef & cabbage and getting pasted on green beer, irish whiskey, and/or guinness, take a moment to ponder what we're really celebrating.

  st patricks day in the us has become more a secular holiday than a religious one, mainly an excuse to overindulge in booze and embrace irish heritage (whether you have any or not), and basically get your party on and wear silly green costumes, which is all fine & dandy.. let's take a brief look at what's really being celebrated, however.. st patrick wasn't even irish.

  he was a briton slave kidnapped and taken to rome where he was raised and schooled in catholicism, eventually becoming a bishop.

  The history of "christianity" in Britain is much the same, we got the revisionist version at school, that St Augustine came over and converted the heathen inhabitants who were all covered in wode and ignorant savages.

  Of course the truth is quite different, Augustine was sent here (I live in England) to sort out the indigenous christianity which was living alongside some pagan stuff, good old Druids and so on.

  You never hear about his meeting with the leaders of the christianity that was here, he told them he came in peace, so to come as the Christ would have, without a sword.

  "St" Augustine and his thugs then slaughtered all of these guys who did not bow the knee to Rome.

  Still, happy St Paddy's , all that is in the past, tonights drinking is to come !

  when i was about 16 years old i began recording some of the music i was learning how to play.

  i can still remember the scoldings i got too.

  whether it was a blues instrumental i wrote or a cover song, i caught hell for it.

  Memorial Invitation official first day today

  well it's that time of year again and the invitations to another pointless memorial aka reject jesus party is now in full swing.

  even though it's only the first day i'm already more than sick of it!

  this is the first year i am fully mentally awake for the memorial season, and honestly i'm so sick of it all!
