i am just thinking if there could ever be anything that would raise consciousness in the minds of millions of jws that this a completely hoax.

If the society rules that obesity is a sin and those that are obese will be disfellowshipped if they don't get thinner, 30% of the rank and file would be DF'd

they should be my Dad is 73 now DF'd for smoking when they changed it... he couldn't quit... then it took them 3 years to do it after they told him they were going too. I finaly talked with him about it...

Ya when you think about it, your body is a temple .. wasn't that the reasoning behind the smoking deal.. obesity is a far greater health concern IMHO

Hey Diana ... I know exactly how you feel... I get that way too, when I'm in a break-up... even when, deep down I know it's for the best... sounds like this guy has security isssues, which usually have nothing to do with you....

I wish I could come and take all your pain and heartbreak away.. but I can't... I just went through this myself.. I took me awhile to get over it...

You will feel better I promise, just keep yourself busy and Be around people that love and support you...

a born ins challenge to develop a post cult personality.. mentally leaving the organization can be traumatic for a number of reasons.

one of the biggest challenges for born-ins in finding their pre cult personality is that our entire personalities are based on the religion.

there is no such thing as a pre cult personality for us.

i sense a lot of desolation among some of you here.

desolation related to having been disfellowshipped and separated from people who you have known and loved for many years.

so, for the sake of conversation, i wanted to drop this little bomb...i wonder whether the watchtower society could, in any sense, be that "disgusting thing that causes desolation" mentioned in jesus' prophecy.

yes Sir.. that makes sense.. But i don't believe in the bible so it's a moot point.... find out how the bible came to be .. then see if you want to take any of it's claims seiously...

extrodinary claims demand extrodinary proof... think about it ... why is it so important to GOD for YOU to believe in HIM with no evidence .. which is the definition of faith..
