Railing on publishers with two-door cars has subsided somewhat but rejecting the New Covenant for forgiveness of sins is still in vogue.

Topics not often discussed now
by jdubsnub inwhen i was a kid in the early 90's there always seemed to be a mention of how demons posessing people or how if you saw a demon or something supernatural occuring mearly calling jehovah's name would rid you of the situation.
rarely now a days do you hear anything of the sort.
that got me to thinking, what are some other topics the society has backed off of?

Do you feel guilty?
by Justmenthedogs inso while i was out hiking with the dogs today i got to thinking about this forum and was wondering how many of you still feel guilty from time to time for leaving?
i do, i miss my family at times but then i think about the life that i have created and i have a good one, i have good friends and i am happy, happier then i ever was as a jw.
i was just wondering if others feel the same way sometimes..

No. Instead of guilt, I feel VICTORIOUS.

belongings have been given, now that the most important news of the the 21st century has been brought to light, it is time for the world to be informed.. therefore, 2014 will become the year in which all world leaders will be informed that to survive, and to help the people of their respective nations to survive,.

No, they officially haven't been given the Master's belongings yet, but they have informed Jehovah that, that IS the appropriate thing for him to do.

I read the Red Babylon book cover to cover when I was 19 years old. It was grueling, but I did it. I felt so proud of myself because I knew no one else could get through it in one sitting.

Update from the land of Southern Africa
by LouBelle inwell 2013 is behind me and i'm pleased that it is done and dusted.
it was a hard one, filled with doubt, fear, pain and horribleness.
i was very fortunate to get out of that horrid job and get back into advertising with the fever.

I think that if people were simply informed that Jesus is not their Mediator, baptisms would come to a virtual halt and the orgs' entrophy would excelerate dramitically.

Good For You Phizzy!!!
"For those who wish to do extra Bible study and research, we recommend that they explore Insight on the Scriptures, "All Scripture Is Inspired of God and Beneficial," and our other publications, such as those that discuss the prophecies found in the Bible books of Daniel, Isaiah, and Revelation."
And I reccommend thay they ponder the scripture 2 Timothy 3: 16 where it says that the bible can make me "complete", "perfect" lacking nothing", "completely equipped".
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

It's not spirituality.... its identification. Since I literally gave my life to Christ Alone...everything changed in my life for the better. Once I dealt with the lie of autonomy, I realized I'd always be a slave to something or someone.
One "free man" works all day for a loaf of bread. One slave does not get paid but shares, uses , distributes, does business with all of a Kings wealth, riches and authority and is rewarded with more authority, riches, investments, etc. according to his skill. He can't get fired. He lives in the lap of luxury while administering the King's business interests. The King loves him.
Which one is more "free"?

The Gall & Hypocrisy!!
by Simon Morley injust got a call from my daughter that she got word that the jw honeywagon (literature stand) has set up in the university she teaches at.
one (and there are many) of the reasons we left was due to the stance on higher education, she was persecuted by the elders for attending the very university they are now set up in.
my daughter eventually got a masters degree overseas and now teaches at the same unversity, is self sufficent and will not have to eke out some pittance of a living while fighting a very delbilitating health condition.

I personally wish we'd see more of these public displays; That way they can't leave when they are asked biblical questions they can't answer. Like how is a person saved if Jesus isn't their Mediator?? Or show me that elusive scripture that shows how a person can be declared righteous while outside of tthe New Covenant ??
These booths are great because they cant run to the elders ( who are equally unable to answer).
