  WT Public Information-Position On Murder

  how would the wt public information explain their position on other crimes such as bank robbery, rape, or even murder?

  would they present their position in the same way as child molestation?

  if so here is an example for wt media to post with the proper changes.. .

  The murder in this case could be simply viewed as "running ahead of Jehovah". While this person would not qualify for a position of oversight, if he is repentant and humbly waits on Jehovah to do all the killing, then certainly we should welcome this brother into our homes and lives.

  right now my body is half shaven with needle marks and bruises everywhere.

  if i were stopped on the streets of chicago looking like this, staggering with fatigue, i would be arrested.

  something we men have a hard time getting through our thick heads is that just because we feel basically okay, does not mean that we can or should do a lot physically after a traumatic event ... and i found this out by doing a little too much walking at the hospital chest tightened, became out of breath, and got dizzy.

  Post JW Children??

  ok, since we were all discouraged from having children in the wt world; i was wondering how many have reconsidered raising children for the sheer joy of parenthood and passing on their heritage.

  even if not practical right now, how many would like to?

  Hearing Kingdom Songs on Dateline.......sickened

  did anyone else have the bile come up, when you heard those "kingdom songs" during the dateline show?

  it made me feel ill.........and almost like leaving the room.

  i wonder why i have such an aversion to anything connected to a kh meeting?

  I guess I have to be the lone dissenter here. The songs made me want to cry actually, not because they sickened me but because they reminded me of an innocent time, when I didn't need to think for myself.

  They reminded me of a time before I was educated, a time when the world was simple to understand...us against them. Worst of all, they reminded me of my entire family, because they are still in it.

  I wonder why I didn't get sickened like all you guys did?

  don't know if anyone else looked prior to the show it was a little over 57,000 hits.

  the counter/hits now stands about 67,000-- 10,000 hits in a little over an hour!!!!!.

  Bill is giving a powerful witness to the witlesses and a dose of truth to the troof.

  So much for telling the Rank and File to beware of evil websites. This will be the start of a real education for many. In about 2 or three years these will start to drift and after about 8 to ten years may even be able to participate in society again.

  I hope the GB and elders get flooded with questions and answer with the same ole' wait on Jehovah bull crap. I have a feeling that the standard line won't cut it any longer for many.

  i don't think the general public completely understands that jw's think they are an exclusive group.. 2. the video of two of the molesters going from door to door.

  it was a tremendously powerful image.. 3. the words of the watchtower legal department saying that jehovah will fix the problem.. 4. the view of a witness assembly.

  I agree. I thought that the fact that the GB could not produce one instance where a JW child molester was turned into the police and prosecuted was the Achilles heal to their argument. It made their claim to have a "very agressive policy towards child molesters" ring hollow in the minds millions of viewers. Like so many things, it's the stuff that's left out that tells the real story. Their failure to back up their claim was checkmate for Dateline.

  The video of two of the molesters going from door to door. Think about what that says. It was a tremendously powerful image.

  It's very clear what that says: We value our repeated child molesting perverts more than you our neighbors. That's what it says.

  I bet the hours take a plunge this month!

  You may not like Bush's policy's , and you may not like his ethnic mannerisms; that was not my point at all. I bet you do "get" his humor though, even if you don't like it.

  I can assure everyone that most of Bush's comments that seem to embarrass so many are on purpose and are meant to disarm and diffuse.

  I watched Bush and French President Chirac in a press conference once. After both answered several tough questions in the wake of 911, Bush mumbled something like, "Do we have time for one more question"? This was after already giving the press warning that the Q and A was about to come to an end.

  In a rare display of humor Chirac said, "Sure, you're the boss."

  Looking surprised, Bush said unbeleivingly, "I'm the Boss?.... Let's eat then"! Then both men walked off the stage.

  I laughed my ass off.

  well ANYONE but bush, he has the crudest international behavior since his father,

  Europeans, especially those living in the old imperial powers don't get Bush mostly because they don't get his sense of humor. Bush cracks me up all the time because I'm from Texas and I understand his sense of humor in finding the sillyness in the most "important" of things. Texans like to simplify issues not over complicate them. We are always making tongue in cheek remarks about the complexity of modern life.

  I grew up with guys like him my whole life. These guys like to poke fun at their own heritage of simplicity and rugged individualism. The humor Bush displays is simply a harkening back to an earlier time while fully understanding the days of simplicity and individualism are long gone. Beneath the boyish humor is a guy I wouldn't mess with.

  Many Europeans want a polished stately figure displayed with all pomp and circumstance. He simply doesn't fit the European ideal.

  Bush will continue to be himself and that suits me just fine. It's written all over his face when he's lying. I like that. Other Presidents were simply too smooth for me. They seemed to always be lying, not just sometimes.
