  What is Your Favorite WT Lie?

  i would like to start a thread on lies that the watchtower and their reps have told.

  surely we all have one or two that truly sticks out in our memories, no matter how much we would like to forget.

  my favorite wt lie: the reason they don't want to release the name of the "scholars" who worked on the new world translation is because they do not want to accept "glory and honor" from others.

  wt 98 2/1 p.19, par. 6 - "Further, other sheep lay hold of the new covenant just as foreigners of old laid hold of the Law covenant. In what way? Not by becoming participants in it but by submitting to the laws associated with it and benefiting from its arrangements."

  Exodus 12:48, 49, Deuteronomy 29:10-15, and Ezekiel 47:21-23 show beyond the shadow of a doubt that this dogma of the WTBTS/JW's blasphemes the Holy Scriptures in order to create the false type/antitype of the foreigners & the other sheep.

  This lie then perpetuates their Black Memorial, where every O.S. JW rejects the New Covenant.

  Rahab and Ruth were foreigners and were accepted as full members of the nation of Israel and participants of the Mosaic Covenant.

  If they hadn't been, the Messianic lineage would have been corrupted by non-Israelites. They and their descendants all received inheritances in the nation of Israel.

  p.s. Of course the biggest lie the org has ever told is that God & Jesus personally chose the WTBTS in 1919 as their "earthly organization." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Try proving that with Scriptures, JW's!

  4 Year old JW has suicidal ideations?

  today i made a post on linkedin about having suicidal thoughts since the age of 8. had lots of supportive comments.

  one lady said her son was suicidal from the age of 4. i was freaked out.

  then she sent me the message below.. i hope she was counting her time!.

  Interesting translation regarding Hebrews 7:1 could simply imply that Melchizedek's origins were a complete mystery to his peers.

  "There is no record of his father or mother or any of his ancestors - no (record regarding) beginning or end to his life. He remains a priest forever, resembling the Son of God." (NLT)

  Even the cult's literature doesn't touch on the topic.

  If the Norwegian Government does not want to be made to look like suckers by the JW Borg, they should insist that the Governing Body issue a letter to all congregations that the former "thinking" of shunning of anyone who no longer associates with them has been reviewed - based on Scriptural guidance:

  "Dear Brothers, regarding former members of the congregation who were removed due to their unrepentant behaviour or those who left of their own volition, (1 John 2:19) we used to think that such ones should be ignored in all situations by means of shunning. We now believe that the principle of Jesus' words at Matthew 18:17 - "If he does not listen even to the congregation, let him be to you just as a man of the nations and as a tax collector," should be applied, namely, that socially associating with such ones should be avoided, while normal, necessary interactions should continue.   The NHS says similar - but with a couple of get-out-of-jail caveats:

  I'm no virologist or scientist, but AFAIK, the only way to prevent infection & transmission of any virus is to wear a Hazmat Suit.
