You have to be careful when trying to help some jdubs. Mention ANYTHING NEGATIVE and you just might get "THATS APOSTATE AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT "

Who went to the meeting today?
by shamus100 inhad pancakes with tree blood (my favorite!).
sipping coffee, going to the mountains today.
ah, life is good.

Shamus 100: You won't get any criticism from me. It's been 8 years since I've been. The longer you say away from the cult teachings the "Light gets brighter and brighter". The poisonous kool aid tends to wear off and your head gets clearer.
Enjoy the mountains. See ya!!!

Beards
by snare&racket ini am sure this has been posted a million times and said by most jw's, but it is an important point..... beards.. .
beards being forbidden is something we just all accepted.

While reading Ray Franz book "crisis of conscience" I remember judge Rutherford traveled to Germany and while at the printing facilities over there he encountered a brother with a beard fashioned after C.T. Russell. They were at the bethel breakfast table and this bearded brother asked judge Rutherford for a new printing press.
Rutherford sat there for awhile still eating and said "I'll get you the new press only if you get rid of that" pointing at the brothers face. The next morning he shaved his beard and came to the bethel table with his head hanging low.
I don't think Rutherford cared a lot for C.T.Russell with a beard and also disregarded his wishes before he died in other matters pertaining to the society as well. That act in itself in my opinion was a powerful statement to other cult members as to why they don't allow beards to this day. This shows us why this cult must be avoided at all cost. No scriptural bases whatsoever.Hypocrites, Pharisees, charlatans.
Need I say more!!!!

The Beast-Tower #3: Shun Guns--Are They For Christians?
by sd-7 inmany have been troubled by the growing number of guns in their communities.
"gun ownership has increased by 500% over the last decade among ordinary citizens, and the number continues to grow," says one source.
as a result, the same source noted that "homicides, especially related to domestic disputes, rose 45% over the same period.

If some kids got molested, the parents should have told the police, it wasnt the watchtower's fault....
by Joliette inaint that about a bitch!!!
when my brother said this to me the other day, i tried my hardest to try to explain why the watchtower's polices on sexaul abuse and molestation in the past, and he said that it was the parents fault (not the watchtowers fault) that these children got molested, and that its the parents job to protect the children.
i tried to tell his thick headed, simple minded self that back in the day parents were threated with disfellowshippment and dissassociation if they reported this to the police.

Joliette: That's sad that he is thinking that way. Does he know that the WBTS are protecting 24,000 pediaphiles in their ranks. Many serving in positions of authority? The kool aid has gotten stronger than I thought. Tell him to go to silent lambs.com maybe he will see the light. I will pray to Jehovah for him that the scales will fall from his eyes.
But if he is true blue to the Borg he won't ever give it a thought. Good luck my sister.

by itscrap&theyknowit! inmy brother told me about my mom's assembly for january 2012 about november 2011. so did my mom and my older brother.. everybody in my family is jehovah's witness.
nobody is a chistian.. well, this week alone started on sunday: text message, "hey, getting a hotel room... (roach motel: the society has soooo much control over the cult dummies that all that follow this crap stay in the most lowly, bug-infested establishments because you need to humble yourself for when armageddon comes.... bull sh**!!!
) ...so, you and the kids can come to swim in the roach motel pool and get a free roach motel dinner.

The sad part of it all, is that most jdubs view the assemblies as part of their vacation time. BORING Sooooooo BORING to just sit there and listen to the same message over and over again. Puppet on a string.
Thank God for real vacations like cruises and mexico, Dominican republic, and the like. ALL INCLUSIVE AND NO CULT TALK.
