one of my friends who is a ms told me today that the elders have 'marked' me because i'm a reg.pioneer and i've decided to go to college next semester???!
he said he can't tell me anymore but to be careful---what the hell does 'mark' mean?

if they guessed wrong, then, you won a plush prize.
if they got it right they kept the dollar they had charged you.. of course, either way they made a profit because those plush stuffed animal prizes were purchased from china for mere pennies.. but, more to the point..... .

Regular Pioneers no longer appointed by Branch!
by hoser ina letter was read this thursday from the platform that the branch will no longer approve or remove regular pioneers.. it was called a simplified arrangement that the local body of elders would decide who should be appointed or removed as a regular pioneer and then to inform the branch of any appointments/deletions.

i guess the bethelite who had that assignment is now unemployed.

It sounds like part of their exit strategy. Tell the rank and file that this is a wonderful arrangement from Jehovah, that way they can absolve themselves from any responsibility.

Shepard book: Sounds very interesting. It's always good to read experiences that help others to cope with what they are going through.
Adds some stability in our lives. I will definitely buy the book.

robB: I think the individual has to be receptive to it. I read it because I had faded and wasn't drinking the kool aid on a regular basis. Die hards are going to say "THAT'S APOSTATE" and will reject it. This person is going to have to go through some changes like maybe something the Brothers do to upset him.
Then eventually he will come around. If this person likes the Internet you might say that you saw something on j.w.facts.com while just browsing and your confused. Please help me.
