My story Is different in some ways and the same in regards the loss and sadness etc.

personally, i'm of the faithless (i'm close to being an athiest) and indiscreet (no explanation needed) class.. are you of the enviable smurf apostate class?
or perhaps even the haunted second-hand furniture apostate class?
I am of that afore mentioned covert class. I use my extensive cia training to cause as much doubt about the wbts as I can in selected targets. Actually I have some never were jw friends that take great delight in causing a disturbance. Actually any kind of disturbance. But I keep them directed to any Jw I find out has doubts. If I disclose more I will have to kill you. Shhhhh don't talk.
perhaps i'm just a bit paranoid..but i get the feeling that there are a few posters that actually hate me (before its assumed--no i'm talking about lack of responses to my threads.. and no i am not talking about a disagreement of opinion) i am talking about a few posters that come across to me as very hateful in their responses.. and yes i know that not everyone here will like me (even though i'm so darn sweet and cute...lol) but it is an intense animosity vibe that i get and can't seem to shake.. maybe i am mistaken and maybe its just me..... but if there is anyone out there that does dislike me that much---i am curious as to why---only because i try to learn and grow everyday and your input would be especially valuable and probably essential to that -growth.. so whats the verdict---do you love me, hate me or just not care either way?.

yes we do have problems within the organisation.... yes, some elders have been on a power trip for a long time.... yes, there have been many doctrinal changes..... why would witnesses on certain countries allowed to vote why people in the us cannot even harbor.
the thought of voting.... i hope bill bowen does not get disfellowship...cause if he is he will no longer able to drum up supports among true diehard, dedicated witnesses to the cause.. most people up in here are deleberately bashing the organisation.... why?
HEY Hatian Boston. Regarding such things as no transplants for a few years and then transplants are now acceptable. No blood transfusions for a few years and then gradually more and more parts of blood is now acceptable.

The watchtower bible & tract society is nothing more than another evil organization that has earned all the distrust they formed in society in general.
They have shown by their actions and behaviour that they are not to be trusted or believed. That they have absoloutly no respect for human life. In their nonsense they have exposed themselves to be extremely ignorant and arrrogant individuals and this has been passed down to and through the organization of Jehovahs Witnesses.
there are some that are obvious and then others that just baffle me to no end..... yes i am talking about your user names.... do any of you have stories behind them or are they significant for some reason or are they just a word you made up?.
mine...well its easy.... i got the nickname of spicy back in nov of last year when i dyed my hair this crazy red color and the name of the color was "spiced ginger".
the rest of it is because i love to make things more interesting---- sorta of like adding a bit of spice to the stew (hopefully i come across as that as well .

if i own/read/admit to apostate material, can that get me df'ed?.
i know better then to admit that i believe the apostate material to the elders, or that i disagree with the society's teachings, but will simply admitting to owning and reading them get me df'ed?.
Maybe/probably it depends of the Ignorance/arrogance of your elders.
martial arts is the one thing the elders and i verbally sparred over for about 5 years.
it wasn't until i got df'd that i was able to attend an "official" class.
i had trained vicariously for about 4 years with a friend of mine who was a student of isshinryu karate.
I snuck around and tried some jujitsu and a style of karate. I don't remember the style. When around 18 to 20 yr old. Left the jw for a while when I was around 28 and did a stint with a so. calif sheriffs office. The self defense instructor taught a sort of street fighting like the israeli military use. Only not so sophisticated. It seemed to work better than the other arts and it was not so concerned with correctness. It also did not require such good timing as the others. I think it also helped a lot that your opponent also knew you had a gun and may use it.

I have nothing to add. It has all been said. I would do the same thing. It still brings some sadness to me that people (families) have to resort to such moves to protect themselves from a silly religion. I hope this will have some positive effect on your child.
