Joshua 10:13 would make a whole lot of sense if this were the case.

When you consider all the negativity in the media, the child abuse scandal, the amount of YouTube videos of individuals pouring their heart out about their experiences with the shunning policy, the blood issue and more.
But then you walk into a kingdom hall and no one ever mentions a thing. That is just so bizarre!!
That's why the KH reminds me of the twilight zone. It's just plain strange😯

Has Watchtower taken the joy out of 'the good news of the kingdom'

i was sitting at the kingdom hall thinking about all the rules, procedures, policies, teachings that each member must follow ......or else!.
at the watchtower study we are reminded of the paradise earth where we will all be the same and happy.

The only joy in the Preaching Work was social
Funny enough, the good lady asked me yesterday why I still attend meetings if I don't agree with 'anything' at the meetings.
I firstly corrected her in that there is much the Society teach is biblical, but there is much I simply disagree with.
I asked her if she really wanted the truth about why I still attend.
Answer- "For purely social reasons" so as not to make things awkward for her.
