  The Watchtower Attempts to Eliminate Discrepancies in Authority

  i began pondering about the reasons why this new light was made and have come to a few theories that may be plausible.

  my conclusion is that the society is hell bent on eliminating the discrepancies to their authority.. .

  the ancient lineage of the faithful and discreet slave - eliminated.

  45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

  So the lord departed in 33 c.e., however, with the new light, he did not appoint a "ruler over his household" then. But rather he waits nearly 2000 years to appoint a "ruler over his household" in 1919. So the ruler left in 33 C.E. and did not make an appointment of anyone, but the ruler came back in 1919 and appointed the "faithful and wise servant over all his goods?" so that he could leave again, but the parable indicates that the appointment by the master was done when he left in 33. Riiiiightttt. (So the master didn't really leave in 33 c.e, but rather he was with his household until his coming in 1919 for inspection. In 1919 he appointed a ruler over his household and then left.

  So we have a problem; to make it simple?, according to the new gb light, no one was appointed when the master left in 33. However, when the master returned he gave rulership over all his goods in 1919 to a group of men that were neither appointed nor were they providing meat in due season, or may I say, not meat that would not make one sick.

  So let me get this straight, the master appoints a presumptuous "servant"? in 1919 (not when he left, but when he returned) that took it upon themselves to claim that they were serving "meat in due season" that was clearly rotten meat or later abandoned "truths".

  This is so twisted that I am having a hard time comprehending it. So the invisible coming of Christ in 1919 was really shortly followed by the departure of Christ after he appointed the governing body in 1919. He appoints them and leaves. ???

  So that's the reason that we see the effects of Christ's invisible presence for nearly a 100 years, because he really is not present but gone. Hummmmmm.

  It's Hilarious how they indicate that you "probably" will be in paradise, but your going to feel awfully guilty. Paraphrased, "The paradise is going to be such a nice place, but your going to feel so guilty that you did not pioneer or become a ministerial servant." And if that isn't bad enough, you will have even more regrets because your living a selfish life. You won't even be able to enjoy the paradise because your soooooo guilty.

  Telling family about "new light"

  okay, now it's my turn to start a thread about the gb/fds "new light" now that it's been well covered by many threads.

  i've noticed that a few have brought this subject up with dub family who accepted wt "new light" without objection, saying that it "made sense" for the fds to only be the gb.

  so i have an idea of how to bring this up with my family in such a way that will highlight that this doesn't make sense... at all.. and the timing of this whole thing is incredibly convenient for me since it wasn't that long ago that this came up with my parents and i said that the wt interpretation of the fds in matthew was out-of-context and flawed.

  jehovah's witnesses are confused regarding the present "times and seasons", more brothers and sisters are resigning themselves to the fact, that they will probably die before jesus christ returns.

  men and women are realizing things don't make sense, yet they continue to put their heads down and remain loyal to "men", not jehovah god.

  What I believe is re-damdiculous is the stubborn attitude to continue using a know pediphile. I've been in e-meetings where elders can come up with every reason in the world to not appoint someone from the guy wears white socks to his bad breath. Oh, but if you sexually molested someone we have to waste an 1.5 hours talking about your "supposed" spiritual qualifications. What a freeking waste of manpower. Why don't they just say, it will be a cold day in hell before you will ever do anything other than vacuum and clean toilets?

  Sorry about your brother-in-law. Your sister helps more people as a doctor than a life time of distributing magazines to empty houses for wt ever will. I'm so sure her life is empty and meaningless, NOT.

  It irratates me that no matter what the circumstance is the witnesses can't stop judging people and implying wrong motives. "Oh, you have cancer in your family, it's because you went to college and are materialistic." "Did I mention that you can get by without an education and have time to go from door to door?" "That way you have more to donate to WT, putting kingdom interest first." Some where in there they have to throw in the expressions "simple" or "real life".

  I'm so happy to be totally away from that mindset.

  School for Congregation Elders

  i attended the school late last year, and it was an emotional and mental rollercoaster for me.

  i was already divided in my heart to say the least.

  one of the instructors stayed in my home for the week, and my family genuinely enjoyed his company.

  "Actually, in reality, "legal entities" should show as a partnership to the F&DS. With all these lawsuits coming at the F&DS world over, the "Legal Entities" will be the ones 'directing' the F&DS/work."

  The last elders school I attended was in early 2000's, and this point is what caused me to wake up. There was more information conveyed during the school about what the legal department said than even reading the bible.

  after i posted my last "getting to know you" video where gerrit losch explains his "unique" views on armageddon, a couple of posters mentioned that other similarly controversial comments had been made by gerrit concerning higher education.. well, these comments were actually made in the same recording as the one i used in making the "armageddon" video, so i thought i should make the second video focussing on these.. here it is.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b7drwti-h4.

  i realize many heavily indoctrinated publishers will try to defend these remarks by saying that, if it isn't in the society's publications, then gerrit losch's personal opinion is of no particular consequence.

  however, the bible says that "out of the heart's abundance the mouth speaks", so by making these videos i hope i am at least showing people what is in the hearts of the men who lead us, and who claim to act as the mouthpiece of the slave class.. .

  Thank you Cedars very nice video. It seems that the GB is suffering from ocd as they relentlessly bash "higher" education. Interesting that attending college is compared to someone shooting themselves in their head.

  I hope that the young ones in the audience were listening to his comments and continue to knock at the doors; continue to knock at the doors of the universities and colleges.

  I am a student of the University of Phoenix and lack four courses for a bachelors degree in business. Some courses can be taken at the campus or completely online. My wife is attending nursing school at the local community college and has to turn assignments in online and receives most communication online. My daughter is in middle school and assignments are turned in online. It appears that online education is the future and will expand. There have been critics that it is not as good as brick and mortar schools however, if it has meaningful accreditation is is just as good and from what I have heard employers are getting more accustomed to it.
