So if someone has sinned enough to be "removed", he can still get a greeting if he shows up at the meeting, or he could be invited to a meeting by others...and even the elders will call on him to see if he has a change of heart....BUT...If one officially removes himself, he is deemed not fit to live and God forbid a JW speak to him Or engage on social media with him. I hope the courts aren't fooled by the word "removed", because we all know it is word play. Removed sounds like, just let go ( kinda like fired ) without any other repercussions. Disfellowshipped sounds like what it is...no more fellowship. The words changed, but the result is the same. Surely an astute lawyer can see through this word play. WE can! We are not fooled. JWs will be fooled because they wrap pretty scriptures around it and the JWs aren't informed as to the legal battles that brought on these word changes. I don't know if any JW see my fb page or not, but I have posted on it not to be fooled!

JW practticed food distribution deception
by enoughisenough ini watched a video which i will link about deception jw used when distributing the farms to families food boxes.
i remember thinking at first the branch had purchased food and gave to the jw rank and files out of love for them during the pandemic.
because i was online, i did note about trump's program and figured out the jw just distributed the food for the government-even being vocal about it when others were saying how wonderfully jehovah provided for his people.

How many of you thought the food was from Jehovah via his organzaiton. Video link is interesting because he has first hand info as to how far the org went to hide where the food actually came from. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSbF0GR1ExA&t=13s

JW Ranking System
by NotFormer init's fairly evident to little old outsider me that the organisation has a class system, perhaps even a caste system.. from what i've read, there seems to not only be an official ranking system (m.s., elder, c.o.
) but an unofficial one.
has anyone ever sat down to figure out what the unofficial ranks are and how they affect the pecking order?

pioneers are definitely put on a pedistal! Bethelites-yeah, I think rank more than MS. Of course the CO wife was looked up to over the other sisters. Goes without saying, the men are more important than the women. I have watched several videos where the families may have been hard up and sort of living on the fringes and so they were excluded from certain activites- so the really poor are at a serious disadvantage.

The “Good Provider”
by Captain Schmideo2 inanyone besides my mom ever use this term for describing their husband, especially one that was not a “spiritual lead” in the family?.
this sounds like a term to use instead of the more truthful “i don’t really love him anymore, he is a disappointment to me, but as long as he brings in the money to pay the bills and puts food on the table for my children, i guess i will put up with it.”.
thoughts?.

I knew of two witness women who kept living with their adulterous husbands because he put a roof over their heads. At least one of the was really stuck in a bad situation and needed the roof. She ended up with cancer, and while keeping his other woman, he did look after her some--and she wasn't going easy on him! The other may have been able to provide for herself but she said, he picked the bloom off of this rose and now he can have the thorns! Then there was the Mom of a girl who said of the girl's fiance, at least he will work.
Having a good provider in a family is a good thing. So many men want the woman to take care of them! A lot of women will KEEP a man, just to have a man around. So there are those who want sugar mommas and those who want sugar daddies. Then there are couples who both have to work just to keep a home for themselves and their kids. There are so called Spiritual brothers who expect their wives to work and provide for themselves. They couldn't take care of their spiritual obligations if the wife wasn't working as well. How many "brothers" can take off work and work construction for the org if their wives weren't working paying the bills while he got in his brownie points?

I always thought waiting to get reinstated didn't go along with the idea that God is ready to forgive. Well, Looks like God was/is, but the elders liked the power of judging others. As to marking, that will come easy for the judgemental JW. I remember well, before c19, I was often invited to go to lunch with some of the "friends". I was vocal about the jabs not being something God would approve and I never got them. When the lockdowns let up, I heard of the people in the group I used to go with getting together, but I never got another invite. I had been marked because I didn't drink the koolaid.

I think this is a JW reasoning on that scripture but I tend to think it correct. The earth quaked. The tombs opens. Bodie became apparent. There is nothing I read in the verses that suggest these bodies were raised from the dead, but rather, the dead bodies appeared having been thrown out of the graves. If those bodies had been made aive, isn't it likely more details on the subject would have been provided. Why were they afraid? If dead ones were coming back to life, wouldn't someone have written about how the people were rejoiceing?

TonusOH...some of the questions I ask them, they ask me back, like would Jesus do that-as in expect money from the government? and I would say no. Sometimes when they queried back, I would pin them down with what do you think. At anyrate, they were in agreement with what I was saying about religions making money from the governments and investments in war equipment UNTIL I told them JW did it and it was how do you know and they started to down play it. I hope the conversation sticks with them and annoys them into research. I think they felt comfortable with my questions because they were clueless that JWs were who I was speaking of because I would say, what do you think of a religion that would..........?
