best thought on nudity that I recall hearing: the only thing that is beautiful naked is a tree! LOL

Naked in the New World
by neat blue dog ini know there was a painting of a woman being resurrected naked and someone coming to greet her holding clothes, but what about after perfection, after the thousand years?.
the idea is we're supposed to achieve what adam lost by returning to human perfection, so wouldn't that include not wearing clothes, especially as the act of adam and eve hiding in the trees and sewing fig leaves signified shame, and imperfection passed on through the reproductive organs.
has the wt ever addressed this?

"here is the Christ"
by enoughisenough ini was thinking about the scriptures at matt 24:23-26 .
the time period does appear to be during great tribulation...anyway, it is telling us not to believe it when people are telling us christ is in the wilderness or in his inner rooms.
it would be false christs and false prophets promoting this.

joao...exactly! but being gullible, the indoctrinated preached that Christ was/is present... even if somehow deep in our selves we knew it didn't make sense we fell in line teaching people from the "Bible study aids" and being good sheep didn't question.

Hypothetical Bible question for Christians
by BoogerMan inalthough not stated, is it possible that satan issued a challenge regarding adam & eve, just as he did with job?.
reason i ask: if you made something "perfect", why would you unnecessarily subject it to a trial/test?.

as I understand it, it your take is correct, he already knew Satan would tempt the humans, he already knew they would fail, he already planned Jesus as a ransom. He knew in advance all the wickedness that would be the outcome. That not only would have been evil and cruel to humans ( because humans do suffer), but to the angels ( tempting them with women) and Jesus( plotting a torturous death) Why would he create something he knew in advance he would regret? Gen 6:6 Jehovah regretted that he had made men on the earth and his heart was saddened. ( so he planned to wipe it all out but Noah found favor )

Vanderhoven7 if your thinking is correct, the whole thing is nothing short of evil.

It would be false Christs and false prophets promoting this. Verse 26 ends, "do not believe it." But have most of us not at one time or another believed that Jesus is present ( parousia) but is invisible since 1914? We have in essence been told," Here is the Christ"...what do you think?

I was thinking they were made perfect, but they were also given free will...the "test" would show what a perfect person would do with free will.

Local congregation donation and expense report. Very telling
by nowwhat? inin july the congregation received $2300.00.
only 40.00 for the worldwide work and zero for ramapo project!!!.
if this is typical no wonder the org.

who knows how they are counting? if you are donation online, are they counting it? You do put in your congregation name. So I guess that would be counted, but what about the world wide work...The org gets their share anyway as a set $ per publisher per month has been set to got the momma bear. if there is anyone on here that knows how that all works, I am interested in learning it. How much could it have cost over the lockdown to run a Hall...the electricity and water would have been very low. Then I am thinking of 3 congregations using the same building...the expense would have been very little split 3 ways. I think they are getting plenty of money, but just want more. They also likely got a windfall in insurances and estates going to them with so many people dieing.

Sarah Kellen - Victim or Vixen?
by Sea Breeze insarah kellen has been described as jeffery epstein's 'lieutenant' for allegedly sourcing and booking girls for 'massages'.. kellen’s [jehovah's witness] parents said they knew almost nothing about what their daughter’s duties involved because they became estranged from her at around the time she took the job with epstein when she was aged 18 or 19.. the split with her family came after kellen was thrown out of the church for allegedly leading an “immoral” lifestyle:.
sarah’s parents told the daily mail they love her and would welcome her back as long as she rejoins the church and shows them she’s committed to the faith.. so, is she a victim or a sly fox?.

Never thought I would see this in my family circle
by Captain Schmideo2 inso, my 17 year old niece reveals to me that for the past few years, her father (my sister's husband) has been physically and verbally abusive to her.enough so that it finally came to a breaking point, and she reported it to the police.
she told me that she had wished she had told me sooner, but she was trying to wait til she was 18 so that she could leave.i knew that she and her parents had been locking horns for the past couple of years, but i chalked it up to teen puberty and general growing pains.
but on their last, most recent visit, i could tell that something was really eating at her.apparently, what set off this latest incident was that he discovered that she had been seeing/involved with a non-witness boy about her age, and got so violent with her that it left marks.ironically, she went and got help from her boyfriend's father, a paramedic, who documented the injuries and encouraged her to report it.so, yeah, he spent a night in jail.she is now staying at the parents of her boyfriend, while still trying to have some aspects of her old life (work, school, etc.

sounds to me like they will all be biding their time until she is 18 ( unless her family goes ahead and kicks her out for good.)
here is a story about abuse in a witness home. The dad was an Elder. There were 2 children in the home. The Family took in foster children through the welfare system temporarily until more permanent placement for the fostered kids who were neglected or abused. So the boy knew the welfare would step in in cases of abuse...he went to the welfare and reported his parents for abuse and he was removed and allowed to go and live with his grandparents. He never returned to the family home. For years the grandparents weren't spoken to by this elder because they had allowed the son to live with them.
