This is very interesting concerning wine/no wine, but the point of my post is the Jesus drinking the product of the vine AGAIN with his followers in the "Kingdom of God", the " Kingdom of the Father"...WT would have you believe these ones would be in heaven...that isn't the picture I am getting from what Jesus said. My understanding is heaven is a spirit realm .

drinking wine in the Kingdom
by enoughisenough insomething jumped out at me that i never paid attention to while reading further into matt 26...in vs 28, he tells them his blood is to be poured out for the many for forgiveness of sin.
but note vs 29 but i say to you: i will no menas drink again any of this product of the vine until that day when i drink it new with you in the kingdom of my father.
cross reference luke 22:18 for i tell you , from now on, i will not drink again from the product of the vine until the kingdom of god comes.. what is the point of all of this: matt 26:29 " i drink it new with you " mark 14:25 " drink new in the kingdom of god.

Disillusioned JW- you wrote freshly squeezed grape juice is fitting for the representation of Jesus's blood, but this is Passover, early Spring...would they have had fresh juice? When Jesus turned water into wine, it was clearly Wine, not juice. So that is another tangent......I think TD made a valid point!

I found the wording interesting on the Breaking News: Norwegian Court Suspends ATTEMPT to Deregister Jehovah's Witnesses. There is something bothersome in my brain about the work attempt. I must have misread something. I thought they did deregister, but this is an appeal. By using the word "attempt" , it sounds like they didn't do it. I guess I should go back and read some more and get my ducks in a row.

Something jumped out at me that I never paid attention to while reading further into Matt 26...in vs 28, he tells them his blood is to be poured out for the many for forgiveness of sin. But note vs 29 But I say to you: I will no menas drink again any of this product of the vine until that day when I drink it new with YOU in the Kingdom of my Father. Cross reference Mark 14:25 " until I drink in new in the Kingdom of God". Cross reference Luke 22:18 for I tell you , from now on, I will not drink again from the PRODUCT OF THE VINE until the Kingdom of God comes.
What is the point of all of this: Matt 26:29 " I drink it new with YOU " Mark 14:25 " drink new in the Kingdom of God. Luke 22:18 " product of the vine" ? This is earthly, not heavenly! Heavenly creatures are spirits. Do you think there are grape vines in Heaven? But Jesus says he will drink the product of the vine again with YOU ( his disciples ) in the Kingdom of his Father.
this leads me to another question that I haven't looked into...when Jesus was back on earth after his resurrection, did he drink any wine? and if so, wouldn't that mean the Kingdom of God had come?

Dear Governing Body, can you enlighten me....
by BoogerMan in......regarding the 'slave's' statement which says the "great crowd" must also "figuratively partake?".
w87 6/15 p. 19 par.
13 - "in 1986: it was appreciated that both the remnant and the “great crowd” must figuratively partake of jesus’ flesh and blood by accepting his sacrifice in order to be in harmony with him.

Luke 22: 20 Also, he did the same with the cup after they had the evening meal, saying: " this cup means the NEW COVENANT by virtue of my blood, which is to be poured out in your behalf." WT 14 10/15 14 says: The new covenant creates the spiritual Israel, and it is the legal basis for the anointed ones to become joint heirs with Christ.
Excuse me, but that isn't what Jesus said the new covenant was about. It is for forgiveness of sins for the many. Cross reference New covenant, and it is about Jesus sacrifice for forgiveness of sin.
The scriptures about the bread and wine are read every year and because of the pre programmed group think, the rank and file aren't getting the truth of what they are reading.

How come the old boys on the GB don't get kicked out at 70?
by eyeslice init would appear that circuit overseers (no dos these days i guess) are taken off at 70 years old.
even older ones in bethels are disposed (sorry 're-assigned to the field) of before they get too past it.. how come though the old boys on the gb aren't shown the door at 70 and replaced by younger men - obviously of the recently anointed type?
they don't look a particularly fit bunch so they can't claim special mightiness because of doing 'the lord's work'.

Why would they be "retired"...they are so good at what their puppet handlers want them to be. (I know I am conspiring that there strings are being pulled from outside and I don't mean by Jesus Christ! but rather the those in "deep state" as some call it.-why else would they participate in / push the democide program?)

A though on the shooting tragedy
by enoughisenough ini am thinking about how i read in the reports that the shooter had contacted another person expressing desire to go back .....and was told to contact an elder.
the man seemed to me to be reaching out for help and got put off...and since he had called this person, he was put off by someone he felt could make a difference.
i would hate to be in the shoes of the person the shooter called...for i would feel so guilty, thinking i could have said something else and none the tragedy would have happened.

I think she was part of the plan--she had to know of the packed boxes of personal items to be given to certain people. One source I read said she backed the truck up. If he was out of the truck and she was driving, she could have driven away.

I don't get it.
by LostintheFog1999 ini am a historian and the period of english history from henry vii to elizabeth i is my specialist area.. i was talking to an ex-jw about the time when tyndale first translated the bible into english with his intention that everyone from the ploughboy upwards would be able to read and understand the scriptures.
it dawned on us both that this was a significant point in english history.. just having access to the bible in hi their own language allowed the common man to understand what god wanted him to understand.. it was and is, so simple.. why then oh why then do jehovah's witnesses think that they need a fds to explain it to them?
when in the 1600s just having a bible written in english was enough for people to understand the word of god?.

The FDS are looking for an excuse to dominate, lord it over others. People drink the koolaid because they don't want to think for themselves. I just listened to a video yesterday that is pretty insiteful ( I think ) I will post a link if I can find it. It is about Free Masonry...but very interesting. https://www.bitchute.com/video/n4Ai2SXXkhrC/ I have come to believe the roots of JW are freemansonry and they are being controlled by secret puppet masters ( of course I could be wrong. I remember way back when we used the term: New World Order....I thought it was unique to JW, but actually it is Freemason. And the "elites" are "building back better" If you listen to the video, you will hear some parallels.

The JW are taught to be cold hearted towards a fellow man...can you imagine if Jesus were walking the earth, he would have said ,"talk to an elder". I am ashamed that I once thought the way JW handled people is correct, because it doesn't take much critical thought and study to see the shunning of disfellowshipped and those who disassociate isn't scriptural. So if no JW has anything to do with me, am I not reaping what I unwittingly sowed? Are not many of us?

peacefulpete, they weren't deferring to...."experts and researchers" when the CO in a talk said you had to have faith in Jehovah, and if you did you had to have faith in the GB and you had to take the vx if able. Talk about spinning threads into a narrative to sell-that happened several months on end in the monthly updates.
