I never believed only JW would survive. i also thought all those descriptions of meaning for various verses in the Revelation Book were sheer conjecture-( like witnesses were the locusts running up the wall) When I think back on it there were tiny bells of doubt in my head, but I felt they were the Bible students who knew more than me.

How many doubt the GB official teaching about who will survive
by Indoubtbigtime ini wonder how many have doubts about the gb teaching that only baptised jws would survive the big a?
even then they still only say you may make it as with unbaptised kids of jdubs.
i think most people physically in don’t agree with the gb on this and are hoping jehovah would let other good people into the new world even if they are not baptised jws.

Do a lot of research and make a notebook...Once I decided to disassociate, I just couldn't wait to write my letter and just get out. The thing I wish I had done was to take all my notes and organize them into a letter and send to every one in the congregation I could get an email address or post address for and send them the information . The research isn't that difficult now because of the internet and the youtube channels where people are reaching out to you to help you understand the harmful lies of the WT.

I was never in the camp that only JW would survive the end. I always reasoned Jehovah knew the hearts of the people. I knew worldly people who were more decent, more honest, more kind than the ones I got to know best in the "truth"....I outwardly posted on my FB page against the jabs. Some weren't happy. A retired CO asked my friend to tell me to stop posting such items as I may be called into the back room. The response was my friend couldn't very well do that as they agreed with me. My friend was around other witnesses more than I was and was getting shamed for not taking the jabs. The GB pushing the jabs woke me up ...I reasoned there was no way Jehovah and Jesus were behind that poison. I can't find anywhere that indicated the org got paid to push the vile drugs. ( but they don't always operate under the same name ) I was listening to a broadcast yesterday where a woman was saying churches were paid by the gov to not open their doors-she didn't reference where she got that information-I wondered about that too, as the JW were some of the first to close and stay closed a long time. They were always pushing meeting attendance (Heb 10:24) but closed the Halls. ( a lot of independent churches carried on throughout. Did anyone really think Zoom satisfied what Heb 10:24 says?)

This is a great story IMO...I could see it being made into a "thriller" movie! ( when you named it Edgar, I thought of Edgar Allen Poe) a friend told a story of a pet crow he had as a kid . He accidently killed it by feeding it treated corn that was to be planted.

Sea Breeze, appreciated the list...in answer to the question: we weren't thinking. We were being told what to think and we along with the group think. I can't believe I was so gullible. I see comments from time to time demeaning witnesses as uneducated window cleaners, but the ones I have known have been intelligent people-some even genius, but they were/are totally blinded. They are thinking: whosoever believes in the GB will be saved!

thanks for all thoughts on this. Even without the NWT, I would have thought time...the reason I questioned it,I listened to a person reading it to a JW with the emphasis in such a way as to make them think all people.

the NWT reads, "once for all time" as does a few others. Most leave out the word time-"once for all"
It is obvious why the NWT would read "all time"? What is your take? Does the scripture refer to Jesus sacrifice for all as in people or is it about time?( one time only)
