  Are we all bitter?

  i posted a link on fb that lead to a topic here.

  i then had one of my 'friends' start having a go about how bitter everyone is here....fact he said.

  (he used to be a jw elder but left a while back, not sure why he left or if he has even researched the faith since leaving) the more i tried to reason with him that actually it is a support forum, the more he lashed out that everyone here bad mouths the jw's and only attack the jw's.

  how do i incorporate text to my post guys ??

  can't copy and paste.. anyway digging around jwn searching for info on anointed and came across link to this web page.

  so i'm assuming it's the wt org.

  Text formatting for this forum is tricky. Mouse right-click-menu-paste, does not work.

  Post "Submit" protocol is manual keyboard driven:

  1) Copy = Ctrl-C

  2) Paste = Ctrl-V

  3) Cut = Ctrl-X

  Easiest is to open and use Word for formatting and spellcheck:

  1) Copy Word text (Ctrl-C)

  2) Click "W" icon on JWN menu bar

  3) Paste text into Word Paste box (that pops up)

  4) Click "Insert", text will land in the JWN "Submit" section ready for posting

  5) Also you can drag-and-drop text from Word into "Submit" section, and vice versa.

  You can do simple formatting only (it's a little tedious):

  Click "T" icon (repeat steps 1-4)

  Also if you see a mistake that needs correction, in the top right corner there is a yellow pencil eraser icon. Click on it, it gives you 30 minutes to fix a mistake.

  In regard to anointedjw.org, I think they should be part of the "anointed" conversation. All true Christian must be "born anew" anointed, which is a rebirth into the family of Jesus, the "eternal father." Populations of heaven and earth will all be "Sons of God." Here's a post on it.

  I Just DON'T Understand!

  okay first i'd like to point out that i'm not a book worm and i probbaly don't have much experience when it comes to the bible.

  i just don't understand god's pourpose and the jws point of view.

  fisrst, if god is love and kindness, couldn't he give a second chance to adam and eve?

  Prodigal son is not analogous to Adam.

  Forbidden to eat of "Tree of knowledge" was not a deprivation of food. So it did not interfere with Adam's lifestyle. Eating it was "running the red light" of authority. The question at issue is: who regulates justice, is it a "free market" situational and personal standard, or is it a centralized universal transcendent standard?

  Adam was created perfect, which means he had perfect ability (moral compass and intellectual tools) to navigate planet earth perfectly. His conscience should have stopped his questioning sovereignty. To do so is as foolish as questioning the laws of physics e.g. gravity.

  Moral law works the same way; God is a God of justice, which necessitates sovereign law.

  Although there is sovereign law, his granting free will means God is not a micromanager. Which means God allows the children Adam to exercise CHOICES and time for remediation. This requires, according to sovereign law, a process to play out involving a messiah.

  So, Adam had choices to do as he pleased, but no one is autonomous with God, including angles (like Satan).

  this is the question that came up in my mind.

  now dont get me wrong i know the dates from 607 - 1914 are rubbish, but how would you explain to a witness when they will automatically say, look at the momentus year 1914 was.

  that is evidence enough that 607 is correct!.

  I disagree. We are entitled to our own opinions, but not our own facts.

  The Great War is unique, that's why it's call WORLD WAR I. Its impact on nations is on a scale e.g. carnage, weaponry, desolation etc., never before seen in history. Only the polar continents were not impacted. Its destabilization of the world contributes to WWII; in fact, historians argue WWII is a continuation of WWI. That's why the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty is a big deal. WWIII will be nuclear, ramifications unthinkable.

  ummm IMO ...WWI & WWII do have relevance. But the JW 2520 numerology lore is clearly exposed as false; primarily because Jesus is seated on the throne when he was resurrected in 33 AD. Ac 2:17-34 And secondly, Darius I (Persian, 1 st regnal is 522 BC) is the king ruling when Israel's "desolation and fasts" end in 517 BC. Zec 1:5-7, 7:1-12 -see Jonson's GTR

  However, in the 24 th chapter of Matthew you have three markers that lock down Jesus second coming, 1) WWI & WW II ("nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom"), Mt 24:7 2) Noah's "flood came" in 100 years Ge 5:32; 7:6; Mt 24:37-38 , and 3) the "evil slave" appearance. Mt 24:45-51 Behavior of this "evil slave" e.g. drunken obsession with the master's delay, with authority to inflict vigilante pummeling of fellow slaves, and using God's personal name Jehovah in an illegal profane way fits unmistakably the JW GB profile as something "evil", displaying the spirit of Judas. This is replaced by a "faithful" slave.

  So, arguably it is plausible that 1914 WW I starts unwind of a 100 year generation. And, medical technology miracle drugs etc., stretches that generation to sync with Noah's 100 year timeline so that approximately 450,000 centenarians will be living in 2014. -see Website: The Centenarian

  this is not monumental... i am sure all of you think it all the time.. but as a 3rd gen born-in ex-elder ex-pioneer ex-bethelite i spent so much time in this relion believing that for some reason that god, who loves all humans and created all things only wanted a few people to get knowledge of him - and this small group in america was his choice.. .

  now as i said i am sure 99% of you probably came to that realization before and it is common sense, but the very fact that as a grown man i never really thought about this for more than 15 seconds.

  the whole idea is just ridiculous and freaking stupid.

  I'm thankful for the JW debacle. It proved to be a test forcing me to determine what I’m going to be. Am I going to be an atheist, or modern Canaanite or a 1 st century Christian? I did figure it out. Results? Now I am way happier because I'm way more spiritual than when I was a JW.

  Here’s the deal. Salvation is about individuals, not earthy organizations. Jesus is organizing the pure of heart. JWN has information that you can pan to find excellent nuggets of gold. And, you can filter out the nonsense if you use your pure heart. "The pure in heart will see God.” Mt 5:8 Hearts don’t literally look and see. So, what is this Scripture taking about? Your pure heart will “see”, grasp the “voice” Jn 10:27 of insight about God. So, take the good from JWs (being a Bible student) and really be determined to know God. Its better the second time when you are free to read and think clearly. That’s your silver lining. You are in a better place!

  i slept horribly last night because of stress.

  it's been a while since i had insomnia, but the meetings are slowly causing that disorder to make a comeback.

  the " bible " study was one of the most messed up things that i have heard in a long time.

  paste the link into the link url field, then click insert.

  this turns the the link into a clickable link.
