  i’m still an elder and i consider myself jw light.

  as my fellow elders are.

  we don’t throw our weight around like elders used to in the past, it’s all very easy going these days.

  Elderberry, Im interested to know if the amount of overall hours has declined since the need to no longer report.
  What is the turn-out like at meetings for field service?

  it’s absolutely the case that overall hours decline 📉

  We all look forward to Saturday ministry group. Good friends getting together for encouragement. It’s just an excuse to meet up and feel like you are doing something good that Jesus told us to do. But we only do ten mins max.

  Then coffee break either at a cafe or someone’s home. Take it in turns. Then lots of meetings for min at other times of the week often ending with meet ups and this brings the congregation closer

  its all much easier now. Just support and kindness from the friends in the cong

  I’m still an elder and I consider myself JW light. As my fellow elders are. We don’t throw our weight around like elders used to in the past, it’s all very easy going these days. We know a lot of stuff goes on in the congregation that in the past would have been a talk in the back room. But these days we ask do you want the elders to have a chat about this? If they say no then that’s the end of it. If they say yes then we just want to be good friends and see if we can help at all.

  if it I a judicial matter then the elders have to do everything possible to get them to stay in the cong. The worst that could happen is a 90 day rest and then the elders do everything to get them to return.

  It’s actually very easy being an elder these days. You could turn upto any meeting with zero preparation and give any item. It’s all done for you there is no thinking required anymore.

  so much has changed over the last few years. Even the most devoted are now what JW light was years ago, and the real new JW light brigade are now properly JW light. They do shadow birthday celebrations and ignore most of the directions from the fat old men in upstate NY.

  Ministry groups are just social get togethers, an excuse to meet up and ‘go on the territory’ park witnessing or street witnessing for ten mins then back for coffee break.

  Looks like Lardy boy finally got hold of leaked elders school as usual long time after all the other apostate channels have already done commentary videos.

  I noticed he repeats and steals the best points from others who were ahead of him. Then he seems to get the credit even though he is always the last to talk about these things.

  also noticed his bitter jealousy when talking about these happy couple in the leaked videos. He keeps saying the brother only just started ironing his own shirts, this is very telling. Are you lonely Lardy boy? Are you bitter that you don’t have a woman to iron your shirts anymore? Come on we all know you read this thread.

  maybe you shouldn’t have betrayed your family with sex workers and maybe you shouldn’t have been sexting underage girls?????

  He was taking pics of himself solo hiking in Slovenia. It was pitiful. Had the emotional heft of a Texan vlogging a weekend trip to Tulsa. In his latest pic he dyed his hair black and was using the iconic “keep calm and carry on” with a British flag emoji. People were speculating in the comments that he may be in the UK, but it looked like he was in that attic flat. Almost like he just remembered he was British and he wants to get the fuck out of there NOW.

  Yes lots pointing to him coming back to the UK. He basically said his girls don’t need him anymore like he is abandoning them. Not that he would win any prize for what a great father and husband was for his family

  A complete "clueless", as you described him, would have indeed been confused as to why God was asking him to explain himself.

  Who remembers the story of the Blue Lagoon? It’s two young children surviving a ship wreck on a desert paradise island.

  shipwrecked on an uninhabited tropical island, who eventually fall in love when they become teenagers (a tale not far removed from Adam and Eve in paradise

  everyone agrees they are a bit like Adam and Eve just have to figure things out for themselves

  a bit like the rest of humanity in that we only understand a fraction of the Bible and if there is a God then what was his purpose. Whoever wrote Genesis what did they want the readers to think?

  Is it possible for anyone to see his ex wife social media? Do the girls have a new step dad? Is he a JW?

  if she did go back into the truth could she stop the girls seeing the apostate dad?

  Is this what Lloyd was talking about in his drug rambling video?

  He actually says the words that his daughters dont need him so much

  Maybe that is his way of saying that he doesn't want to bother with them anymore, or support them financially. Maybe that is why he feels trapped-- it's an expensive responsibility, and he's not exactly a shining example of a responsible husband/father.

  How long before the girls get a letter full of accusations and gaslighting? Stay tuned!

  His latest video he gets all mixed up trying to say he doesn’t believe the Bible and it’s no good but then even admits the obvious contradiction here by saying he is going to try to derive benefit from it??????

  then he tries to twist the Good Samaritan against JWs saying the Samaritan was apostate and that according to Lardy JWs wouldn’t help the beaten man or something????? I’m certain JWs would help the beaten man every single time even if he was an apostate like Lardy. They just would not listen to a word he says once he gained consciousness 🤣

  it doesn’t make any sense??????

  did anyone else get the feeling that Lardy boy has completely lost it? He contradicts himself over and over. Anyone asking themselves would come to the true conclusion that it’s obvious that Lardy boy is wrong to claim JWs wouldn’t help the beaten man even if he was apostate but that wasn’t even clear what Lard was saying.

  I think he was saying the beaten up man was the JW and the Good Samaritan was the apostate (but Samaritans were never Jews) either way it makes no sense whatsoever!

  is this common with people who do lots of drugs and shrooms?
