The Borg in 20 years will probably be Leaner and Meaner with more of a core group of followers (basically the biggest suckers ever) in the western countries but will continue to expand in develping countries. I will GAURANTEE that you will start to see more and more ethnic people at the top Level's and even in the governing body. the GB will possibly be composed of an asian, a latino or 2 for sure, an African American (Theres already an African American which wouldv'e kicked the bucket by then so he'll be replaced). Yes, they will have to shift their marketing model with the growth of developing coutries and the demise of the western markets. Unfortunately, the WT will be around for a long time....

Random thoughts about the organization. In 20 years.....
by stuckinamovement inmany people will scoff at the thought that the org will collapse.
i agree that it will never collapse but the crumbling has begun.
think about the following.....they have a serious lack of potential future leaders.

Thats Hilarious. Couldn't have said it better myself.
How do I manage the boresessions? Well, Between taking my kids to the bathroom (wasting as much time as possible) to Going outside for a "walk" during the washtowel study (wasting as much time as possible), to checking out the new blonde visiting who's siting in front of me (especially nice during the song when I can get a full view ) to just plain thinking about work, my next vacation, whatever.......... it goes by pretty fast. Oh, and plus I never make comments or do any talks and I only go 2 to 3 times a month which helps. Thats how I cope. I gotta make some sort of presence, ya know happy wife happy Life.

In order to be able to tolerate it (I go to be able to spend time with wife and kids) my routine is this: We get there, after about 20 mins I Leave and go with a buddy of mine for breakfast, coffee, some chit chat. Get there just before the morning boresession is over. Go to Lunch with the fam. socialize a bit, sit down for another 20min at the start of the afternoon boresessions, go outside, walk around a bit, get in my car and go for a coffee, try to waste as much time as possible, and then get back about 30 min before the whole borefest is over.. then we make plans to go to dinner with some family and close friends... and thats it. It really goes by pretty quick.

Still believe in a "Loving" Creator.... Watch This.
by Zordino inthis is a bit of a rebuttal to greybeards ("lack faith in a creator.... watch this") post and the reason why many people lack any faith in a loving creator.
granted, there could be a superior intelligence that could have set certain events in motion but i do not believe there is a loving heavenly father who gives a rats ass about humanity!
its just that in all of recorded history, the human race has suffered (and continue's to suffer) a great deal.

factfinder, yes I forgot that part. So 'God' in his great wisdom "Hurled" to the vicinity of the earth a bunch of powerful, invisible, evil spirit creatures with the full knowledge that they will torment the shit out of humanity.... cause we're supposidly the great great great great great great great....... etc. grandchildren of some guy that God supposedly created in the first place who pissed him off so that God is now taking it out on the rest of us so now we (humanity) deserve more punishment than we got in the prior 6,000 yrs before the great hurling. You know, just typing this post makes me realize how stupid the whole thing is. Speaking of the great hurling..... I think I'm gonna Hurl

factfinder; Its actually a smart business move. They've started cutting back on publications ever since the internet has taken off in the mid to late 90's and has become mainstream. Paper publication's everywhere (not just the Jw's) have been in declined ever since. Today, we can just look up anything on the net. Basically, they are no longer profiting much from publication as they used to. As for selling off buildings, well those assets have gotten as high as they can and they are finding new (more risky) investments in Hedge Funds for example. As for the realestate, its a great scam they've got going with that. They will ask the R & F to donation money to their new venture's ie; the new bethel or new KH's and get the r & f to build it for free... again all the while cashing in on their "Matured" investments such as the properties in Brooklyn and elsewhere. So Basically, Like any other corporation, they make decisions on what to buy and sell based on what will bring them the most profit in the shortest time. Its that simple.
factfinder, eg; Lets say I get bunch of people to build you a home for free and give you donations for the land and materials so you virtually got the home for free. Afterward, when the market is right, you sell it, pocket the money and uncle sam does not tax you even one cent. Now Lets say you repeat this process all over the world tens of thousands of times spread over a 100 years! How much money would you have???? Think about it.
