  1914 - on the way out?

  as i haven't read any jw literature some 10 years or more now, can anyone tell me when was the last time that 1914 was seriously mentioned or discussed in a wt or book or whatever?.

  and when was the last time the calculation of the "7 times" which leads to 1914 was actually put down in writing in jw lit?

  has it been in a wt study article recently?.

  Most hated Bible stories....

  years ago, i had a pet-hate bible story, and it was this one story that actually started me on the path to freedom from the borg-org.. it was the story of lot when he was living in sodom and the 2 angels visited (dressed like men of course).

  and the crowd of sodomites were yelling "send out the visitors so we can bonk them senseless".

  Puzzle time

  i thought it would be nice if everyone wasted a bit more time at work so here is a cool puzzle.. you have only the numbers 1 to 9, (there is no zero).. once you use a number it can't be used again.. make 3 fractions which when added together equal 1.. the denominator of each fraction must consist of 2 digits.. example:.

  1/23 + 4/56 + 7/89 = 1.. (thats not the correct answer by the way!!).

  Anyone remember this old one??

  i was wondering if anyone remembers this old hoary chestnut??.

  a priest walking down a road sees a little boy with a basket of very small puppies and a sign that says "catholic pups for sale".

  the priest praises the little boy for keeping the faith and being such a good catholic etc etc,.. anyway a week later, priest is again walking down the road and sees the little boy again with the puppies, except this time the sign reads "jehovahs witness pups for sale".
