  of course, i joined it for the gym.

  seriously, the best deal in town for a whole family membership that the gym actually allows tweens and teens to exercise in classes and on machines.

  i get the feeling that there is more to the eve story than we are aware of.. if we look at the patriachal religions, they are very 'anti-woman'.

  is this based on their corruption of the bible story.. .

  yes, i think there is more to the story of eve, and our the 'origins' than we think.. father god, mother goddess.. .

  Even if there is a creator, he certainly didnty create or author a single word of the OT. It is an insult to imply someone so grand and intelligent would end up copying ideas from local religions to create his own. the language, writing, calendar, holidays, sacrifices, architecture and so on are all copies with slight modifications of their canaan and neighbouring peoples.

  What other ancient Greek Manuscripts contained the divine name?

  the society in appendix 1a of their 'kingdom interlinear translation of the christian greek scriptures' refers to nine other greek manuscripts as containing the divine name, and they quote from jerome as referring to certain 'greek volumes' containing the tetragrammaton.

  can anyone shed any light on what these greek manuscripts and volumes are and their dates of writing?

  we were at a funeral recently and disfellowshipped hubby would talk to anyone who who would come up to him and talk.

  i know there are not many peterists out there but for the sake of argument all you bible believers, a question for you.

  its looking more and more like the book of revelation was written for john's time and not ours.

  the number mentioned 666 is more likely 616 for the emperor caligula who put a statue of himself in the temple at jerusalem, and the first verses in the book and the last chapter all say that these thing will happen quickly.
