someone became suspicious and called george benson who told him that it was stolen by a brother who had left patterson and was put on a cd and distributed illegally.

They are making me mental!

i belong to a 'non-religious' message board (have since 2001) that seems to have a large proportion of newly-arrived christians on it.
normally, i could care less if they're there; the topic is not religion, there's plenty of places to post that don't even smack of religion.

Demons and feathers
by Narkissos inbrummie's thread about "unwritten prophecies" made me think more broadly about unwritten stuff among jws.
this one is not a prophecy, sounds more like a "urban legend".. there were stories circulating among french jws in the 70's about people suffering of some unexplained illness, until strange demonic "artworks" were discovered in the feathers of their pillows.
some were almost dying as the "work" was almost completed.

Sounds like a hallucination to me. For instance, an LSD trip might draw one to tear their pillow apart and find "strange artwork" inside. Serious illness could have a similar effect.

Still lots of disbelief here. It occurs to me that Prince is not allowed to speak to me because I'm bad association and might spoil his useful habits!
What a laugh riot!
I'm not sure how much money he donates to the Society, but don't you think Prince is now a "stubling block"? His old, "immoral" music is still for sale. Do you think he told the record companies to just keep that money now? Doesn't he also have his own record label, Paisley Park? Do you think that label has stopped putting out anything that might be un-Christian? Why does his new video make political statements? Aren't Witnesses supposed to stay out of politics?
It just seems IMPOSSIBLE for Prince to be a brother in good standing. Someone please explain this to me because it's really pissing me off. My parents are now encouraged to associate with Prince and not allowed to speak to me! JUST LAST YEAR my wife went to his concert here in Milwaukee and he was still doing his dirty music. When did he suddenly have a change of heart and then suddenly get baptized? What the hell is going on here?!
