So far Milli Vanilli has it!
Wham were fun and a band (!) for a time. Whether you like him or not (not me) George Michael is a genuine talent. Andrew Ridgeley was the third member of Milli Vanilli

General Public...

It's a simple question:
The newspapers have reported this . . . JWs I've spoken to seem to think it's outsiders making it up . . . is it true or not?
predestination is something ive been thinking a bit about of late, mainly due to a wt article on the subject printed in the may awake, which i read after skimming through the magazine at the weekend.
i believe the wt reasoning on the subject is that god has the ability to see into the future, but that he chooses not to look into the future, as it would negate our free will, although the recent may article was more a criticism of predestination, and although they didnt assert their own position, what struck me from reading the article, and contemplating the wt article in general is that they seem to focus on time a lot, and its this part where the wt idea of predestination seems to fall down to me.
if god created the universe and everything in it, as a jw would assert, this would also mean he would have had to have created time (which is a product of our universe) and so before god created time, it, obviously, wouldnt have existed, and without time, there cant be a past, present and future.
Could that mean "He is the lamb (that was slain) before the founding of the world"- He is the lamb that was slain before the founding of the world Rev.13:8
in new hampshire, the council that has power to make laws happen, voted against the mandatory seat belt law.
it appears that seat belt use will remain voluntary.
do you believe the government should require such laws??
ooops
just noticed Tij already said that

I understand that they make children be in a car seat. I do not think it should be the law to wear a seat belt. I believe laws should only be made to protect the freedom of others. Like stealing is wrong because it hurts another person. If I do not wear my seat belt, it is not hurting another person. It is the law in Mississippi that you must wear your seat belt.
That's not strictly true. In the UK front and REAR seat belts have to be worn. A non-belted passenger can kill the person sitting in front of them although they may survive
i recently wrote a letter to every family member i could find an address to which exposed the wt org as the group of fools they actually are!
interesting thing is that not one letter was sent to my home congregation by anyone and the letter circulated to almost every family member i have; so instead of turning me in as i suspected they would do, they are talking about it openly and distributing it to all family members-even ones i couldn't find an address to.
i'm winning this war!
yeah me too.
And Sad Emo who's here for tea!
i wish i had posted this earlier so you guys could have gone to school this week to check it out, but the km school was a long winded plea plea for cash donations, reminding us that "jehovah will be grateful".. how i wanted to raise my hand and ask if the great need was related to paying off the child molestors or ask what happened to the$100s of millions from the property sale, or ask why they needed money after kicking out all the bethelites (two booted bethel couples in the congo).
anyway you guys missed a good laugh.
if anyone wants i'll post the km magazine.
I also wore my suits until they needed cleaning to cut back on costs and pollution. But I often got hounded to clean them once a week or more.
I am either a completely scruffy swine or you've got OCD.
You got hounded to clean your suit weekly!!?? What were you doing - digging the garden in it?
