Any Suggestions on what to say if elders ask why you stopped going in FS?
by BU2B ini was curious what might be some good things to say if i am questioned by the elduurs about my decline in fs.
anything too honest may get me a jc (although that would be for the best in the end..) the co visit is this week so they may be getting more agressive than usual.

Three thousand people was added, because they believed, repented, and were baptized. I might not be a Jehovahs Witness but I gladly believe in Jesus.
Acts 2
Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
A Vital Church Grows
40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.”41 Then those who gladly[g] received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,

Ok I did write Hitler tormented day and night! Hey that is why it is left to Jesus.
I just do not think he should have a fluffy pillow to rest his head until he gets resurrected!
Compassion for Hitler! Yeah ok leave it to Jesus to decide his eternal fate!

It is not worth defending my self on something I did not write! If people like Cofty intents to twist what I wrote why should I reply.
Cofty wrote:
You said you were fine about the idea of eternal torment, so I am asking you what sort of people your god sends to this hell.
You seem certain that Hitler will burn forever and ever. Anybody else?
Please re post where I wrote the above so I understand where YOU are coming from?
I never wrote any of that!
Where did I write burning forever and ever! or eternal torment! Never wrote anything about hell fire.
It is moot!
I just think that religions do not fully understand Revelations! But it does say there will be a lake of fire!
I wrote eternal hell but I did not state eternal torment! I doubt there such a thing as eternal torment in the bible!
Gee nice to see others know I am here! Thanks for noticing me!
Galixie Thanks for your post. I really want to leave judging up to Jesus. I have faith that all will be healed and given another chance! But it gets hard to believe that people like Hitler will be resurrected. This is why Jesus is the only one giving power over dead and living! No other human has that right obvious if I want to send Hitler to eternal hell! The ba@tard is already dead!
I believe the bible mentions that Satan and his angels will be thrown into the lake of fire. Big list of ones who will be thrown in there as well false prophet.
Lake of fire is symbolic! Fire could mean cleansing!
I doubt very much that it is hot place and what Jam's relatives believe! It symbolism.
Not worth discussion with non Christians.

I am not fond of men or women who share conversations with mommy or anyone. He lacks maturity so yes give him some time to mature some. Why do you think he shared what you stated with his mother? Why share your conversations with his mom! Hopefully with your help he can keep your comversation between you two. How else can he mature and learn that your conversations are between husband and wife. All is confidential and between two, other wise you would invite the family over! How can one enjoy and respect the person they are visiting if they bring up past coversations with others! Sharing others conversations is not fun for mom. Or you! He just in a habit of too much sharing and not enough enjoying. There just too many topics! Why should he share your mother in laws conversation with you? I am sure he did not need to do that if he wanted to keep things peaceful. Anyhow it really is your training him. You've got your job cut out!
Your fading plans sound about right! You would be considered unbelieving mate.
Rev 7
12But to the rest I say, not the Lord, that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13And a woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he consents to live with her, she must not send her husband away. 14For the unbelieving husband is sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified through her believing husband; for otherwise your children are unclean, but now they are holy. 15Yet if the unbelieving one leaves, let him leave; the brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us to peace.…

Rev 14:4 Here a thought.
These were "ones" could mean both female and male.
Among "men" could represent mankind in general.
Did not defile themselves with "women" Maybe women represents Babylon the Great the harlot and sister. The 12 tribes turned away from YHWH and worshipped false gods! OT
And in their mouth was found no deceit,[ d ] for they are without fault before the throne of God.[ e ]
Lol! Men! not in our time!

Your not missing anything! Just JWs probably think 144,000 should be males! Although they believe both male and females should partake. If you look at the outdated Revelations Its Grand Climax...." it shows a pictures of the 144,00 as males with wings! No women! LOL! They are men but probably were not virgins before they got their wings! joke.
Anyhow JWs could always say it is symbolic for pure believers in Jehovah. They never mixed true worship Jehovah with false Christendom Trinity. However, I never knew a JW 144,000 partaker who was a born in! Most were raised in other churches and partook as children and adults then joined JWs and partook. So much for virgins! :-)
You could declare your part of the 144,000 feel the need to partake. Your hubby will become concerned because he will want you in paradise with him.
Watch how everyone will treat you.Lol.
