  Mr.Simon brough out several important factors in Conti's case(it will help to determine whether you have case or not)

  • Victim was abused during church activities.
  • Perpetrator is known abuser by the congregation elders.
  • Perpetrator is not a family member.
  • Written document (i.e.: 1989 Body of Elders letter, letters between elders and Watchtower, etc)

  I am sure that doesn't mean you do not have the case unless your case meet these exact potocol.

  Another point, The Jehvoah's Witness elders were caught lying in court during the cross-examine and were contradicting each other in lying. They should have been arrested for contempt of court. They are no good liars working for Publishing Company. What shepherd?

  I'm sorry to sound like Debbie Downer but in video 2, I don't think the lady asking Ms. Conti questions has done any background research or briefing on the case. Her questions were a waste of time if she had just done the slightest bit of preparation.

  Actually, we have learned a very important information from video 2. Ms. Conti's moleter's status at the time of his crime. Kendrick was a Rank & File! The precedent is set for the Watchtower that they are liable for Rank & File as well as Elders and Ministerial Servant. It is Watchtower's worse nightmere!!

  What should be kept in mind if we want some or all of our assets to go to Jehovah's organization upon our death?

  When humans die, they no longer have control over their material possessions. (Eccl. 9:5, 6) So in advance many execute a will or trust that explains their wishes for distributing their assets....Therefore, if we have specific wishes regarding our assets, such as that some or all go to Jehovah's organization, it is important that we execute a legal document to stipulate this and that we carefully choose the trustee or executor.

  Bascially what it saying here is that: You are going to die soon. I am watching you from behind. Make sure take care of yourself before you die so that it make easy for me to gobble you in one mouth. And make sure appoint elders (not your children) as the trustee or executor.

  Zalkins's Court Case Documents in Zalkin-Watgchtower's Points and Authorities in Reply to OPP-MSJ 12-16-11:

  Introduction: During the time Gonzelo Campos abused Dorman, Campos was simply a member of the Linda Visia Spanish congregation, not an agent or employee or Watchtower, and thus, Watchtower is not liable for Campos abuse of Dorman under any theory of liability.

  Here, Watchtower was arguing their unliablity over Campos' abuse since he was a simply a Rank & File.

  Although an individual becomes a congregation member, publisher, and ordained minister upon his baptism as one of Joehvah's Wktnesses, this does not mean that all Jehovah's Witnesses are agents of their congregation or of Watchtower.

  Really? Watchtower can't have it both way.

  Jehovah's Witnesses do not engage in the field ministry as representativies or on behalf of Watchtower or any congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

  In that case, why do we get phone calls from an elder( congregation secetary) to report service time, let alone making a congregational announcement to report field service time monthly? If I don't represent any congregation why do they keep my publisher card with record of service reports in a local congregation file?

  The Conti trial transcript on Jury Trial Day 7, June 11, 2012 page 172, Watchtower Defense Attorney McCabe in his closing arguments:

  Now, I'm not saying this to shirk responsibility. If Mr.Kendrick had been an elder, I wouldn't be here defending the Congregation, I would advise them to settle this case, pay whatever they want. (credit to Barbara for this finding)

  Once again, Watchtower had tried to argue their unliability over Kendrick(perpetrator) and his abuse for he was simply a Rank & file. Suprise, Suprise! The 12 Jury found Watchtower guilty and punished it with the single largest $ amount punitive damage . Therefore the precedent was set for Watchtower. Watchtower's liablity over Rank & File!

  Watchtower attorney McCabe was a leading attorney on both cases. He sure spoke double tongue. He said he would have settled the case without fight had the perpetrator been an elder in Conti's trial. But he fought and took 2 years of legal wrangling to even offer to settle out of court with the victims most of them molested when the prepetrator was an elder in Campos trial. He used 'Rank & File' arguments on both cases as a main defensive strategy without prevail.

  at 37 years of age, i'm much to young for feeling this damn old, so apologies for sounding less than idealistic, but...... we need people who will be honest and true to themselves.

  having offered jws the entire decade of my 20's while they tried to suck out my soul, i have come to appreciate how little of a desire these days i have to change the world.

  SauerKraut, Once you disassociate yourself, you may no longer able to help your mother learning the truth about the truth. I wonder you shold hold on the DA letter for now. You will be label as an apostate. Are you ready for that? I would send copies of a DA letter to your mother and people in the congregation if you decide to go for it. (I apologize to OP if you feel I am hijecking your thread.)

  I gaurantee those Vietnamese Witnesses had no idea of his illustration on,"Boombing all the time. It was like the 4th of July." He should have used illustration that's more common to his audience. He should have said "....like the New Years Eve."

  Anthony need to work on Counsel #46: Illustrations/examples that teach, and #46:Illustrations from familiar situations.
