ok cohersed to go door to door. I just wondered if someone has done it. I haven't personally. Several people have been DF'd in my family and they have honored the evil WT doctrine. If I leave the next time I will see my father will be at his funeral and I might just lose my wife via the spiritual endangerment card in which case I'll have to purposely cheat on her to release her from the bondage of our marriage and forced celbacy.

I can see that your mind is at war with itself. Only a few short months ago WWIII broke out in my mind and it nearly drove me insane. It probably didn't help that I'm bipolar but I think this CULT mindset can drive anyone bonkers. Convince yourself that it is all a bunch of smoke and mirrors first and start making your exit strategy. Mine involves getting my wife out and will probably take years but you don't have a wife in the cult so count yourself lucky!

I gotta RANT for a minute( MIL blues)
by thecrushed init's only been a month or so sense i fully awoke to the fact that my whole family for 3 generations has been fully entrenched in a cult.
i went threw terrible drug addiction like withdraws, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts etc etc etc.
for about a week i could barely sleep and then another all i wanted to do is sleep.

Everyone she finally left today and it has been a big relief. My wife and I have become calm and relaxed again. I can tell she is relieved even if she won't admit it. I ordered CCMC, Greek Interlinear New Testament translation, Carl Sagans Billions and Billions, Albiert Einstiens Memoirs, 1984, Animal Farm and some other good books recommended here. I have a new job starting soon and from now on I'm going to dedicate myself to lots and lots of reading and study. Time to slow it the hell down, dig in and prepare for the long road ahead. I mentioned to my wifey that I wanted us to go bike riding on some local park trails next weekend. I hope that it works out. We need a fun romantic day out.

Yea I know the drinking isn't helping but I can't help it at this point I'm trying keep from exploding. MIL comes to town Drinking goes UP!!! MIL goes home drinking goes DOWN!! Actually she just walked in my study and told me that I'm undermining my marriage and I'm destroying my family. Well that was what she was going to finish saying before I cut her off and told her to keep it to herself. She is seriously love bombing my wife and placing all the blame on me. MIL even had the nerve to say that I've been cold, and alof to my wife and it's hurting her. I'm not cold and alof to my wife just to her!!! F**KIN go HOME and let me repair the damage you F**Kin caused you sorry miserable, undersexed, fat, ugly, hypocritical, meddling, gluttenous Bitch! You have done nothing but make your daughter insecure about her weight and looks all her life and YOUR the reason she purges and is bulimic! You pick at her wieght while you stuff your face with junk food all day to the point that we have to go behind you when you leave and find all the half eaten food you leave under and around the guest bed. YOUR the one that told your daughter that no brother would ever want to marry her because she messed up and slept with a couple guys in high school. That messed with her head so much that she had to tell me about this and ask if I minded that she wasn't a virgin before we continued dating. mrsjones5 I dare her to walk in our bedroom while we are having sex. I wouldn't be that upset about her seeing me naked but I know it would scar her for life That would teach her to honor a married couples privacy. This isn't the first time she has walked in our room and flipped on the light to ask us some stupid question while we were sleeping. She always seems to be surprised when I tell her to get out of our room or else! and then stare at her with a gaze that could kill.

FDS Obedience Vs. JW Marriage

if yes, would this mean that a jw wife should submit to any medical direction that came from her husband, even if the consequences were serious?
would this mean that it would be right for a jw husband to tell his wife if blood fractions, organ transplant, etc.
