What are the specs of your computer?
by JH inso many threads on pictures, and desktops, how about telling us a few specs of your computer.
my computer is 3.5 years old.

Thinking of building myself a Super PC. Finances required first!.......Yes I have thought of selling my Laptop to fund it!

i look around my community and find it hard to believe that anything is going to happen here.. i live in southern califonia, near san diego, and who knows?

Netscrape is dead !

aol have agreed to license ie for the forseeable future (at least 7 years) and have also signed up for media player 9 which must represent a major blow to real player and apple.
the two companies have also agreed to cooperate on im which should be good news for all of us (i guess yahoo won't have any option but to cooperate also or be left out).

We've been given a Win 95 PC with a wittle Pentum processor. Carn't give it away! It was thought that the wife could practice on it, get used to PC's, even she as only turned it on once.
Netscape..........the fact that Netscape deliberately chose a losing strategy while Microsoft chose a winning strategy doesn't tell you whether or not the fight was fair. Owning the Windows platform does give Microsoft a lot of power to abuse, and as Al Capone is supposed to have remarked: "You get a lot more with a kind word and a gun than you do with a kind word alone."

Suprising how many buzz "words" they use........Whildhorses reminded me of this one, "Curiosity killed the kat". I remember on numerous occasions this saying was used in talks, the last time one Elder was talking about the internet and Apostates.
