enjoy that snow, looks like you guys are getting alot of it. if you need any shovels, let me know I'll send some. We do get snow here, but what we had has melted, and it will come again. I've still got to get my carrots out of the ground.

The Watchtower Society Doesn't Care About Anything
by minimus inthe wt.
society doesn't care about how outsiders view them.
they don't care about how the rank and file look at them.they don't give any credence to congregational elders or ministerial servants or pioneers.

I think they will start caring about their pocketbooks when more lawsuits take hold.

all I can smell is SMOKE!!
by Prisca inbushfires have been raging around sydney for the past 2 days.
high temperatures (30c+) plus blustery hot winds have fanned fires all around my city.
the reason for this is that although the central business district of sydney and neighbouring suburbs are purely metropolitan, the outlying suburbs are surrounded by bushland, and many areas naturally have plenty of vegetation.

What Is The Greatest Injustice You've Encountered?

one thing that comes to mind is the story in COC where the elderly brother had the care of sisters coming to his house, he so desperately needed assistance and when he was disfellowshipped they no longer came around. How Cruel for the WTS to leave that person is such dyar circumstances.
then theres Milawai and the Mexico story.

Should I go Decorate my old KH? GRIN>
by NaruNaruChan in.
so this morning at around 5am, my girlfriend and i were driving in north fresno and we noticed that there are two huge christmastree like trees in front of the hall, outside of the oh-so-welcoming gates... and so i got to thinking... and... hmm.... should i???
in the words of ts eliot, "do i dare disturb the universe?".

I too think it would look festive, go for it
we've thought of doing ours (have to call it an X hall) but we have a few things against us.1. I think they might figure out who it is because we left 4 months ago and my yard is all decorated. 2. it's a dead end street that they are on with an apartment complex right by it.
theres no stopping you now, get, get get out there, were all waiting.
Mary lol we were just talking about doing something like that this afternoon.

Michelle my ex wife leaves the witnesses
by barry inive just finished talkin on the phone to michelle my ex wife she has decided she has had enough.
she has told them they all suffer from anxiety and paranoia because of the literature.
thursday night is actualy her last night and michelle has written a letter saying she is very upset about the current literature because of its manipulative nature.. michelle is not one for letting the grass grow underfoot and has already made contacts with christian life ministries a charismatic group for her new spiritual home.

Today I received my first birthday present EVER
by cruzanheart inand it was really neat!
it felt a little strange, though.
technically, i guess this isn't my first birthday present because big tex left me a dozen roses on my car the first year we met, on the eve of my birthday (with a note that read "to my favorite middle-aged pioneer" - i married him anyway).

What Did You Give Up To Be A Jehovah's Witness?
by minimus inbesides giving up our time and assets,is there anything that you particularly felt that you truly "gave up" to become or remain a witness?

I felt we had to give up our wordly friends, moving away it was easy, but ,we just this summer made a special stop to see a long time ole friend, it was great.
gave up alot of birthdays and holidays and I'm thankful with a few surgeries our family had been through the blood issue was never a problem.
