if you can talk to him over the phone it would save you some time, after you tell him what you think, tell him not to bother you or your family anymore and then block the number. I would also tell your mother not to give out your phone number to anyone. I hope things will still go well for you and your mom as so many do not even have a relationship with theirs. IMA

I'm Sick

i haven't been sick in several years, but about 3 hrs.

before my family was coming for our christmas eve dinner and present exchanges i got really sick.

my stomach had this strange feeling and i felt like i was going to die, not pain but a wierd feeliing.

hope you are feeling better!! I also know of a little boy who had the stomach flu over the holiday, something is always going around. Hope New Years is better for you.

Best argument against a Jehovah's Witness?

don't get me wrong, i'm not one to actively persecute jw's, i'm just wondering what you guys think is the best agrument/point to use when a pesky brother or sister just won't leave you alone.

normally, i am willing to listen to their drivel out of respect (even though i have no respect for the wt) but there are times when i am not in the mood to hear them babble.

i normally bring up the 1914 generation point, and it normally works.

you could also try the pedophile issue that's as big if not bigger than the Catholic church they are always snickering at. have you read Crisis of Conscience? there's more amo in there.

My Dad died Saturday unexpectedly...

hi friends, my father died saturday morning.

i want to happily say that i sent my dad a print-out of some of your key material re;org, last week and he read it all...witnesses were 'on his back' lately, and he appreciated it.

keep up the positive focus..it is so important..i wanted to write more, but i guess i'm in shock 'cause i just can't do it...thanks to all of you for your support and help with all the stuff that i've been on the board about..peace and love to all of you and your families..nk

We don't think Jehovah condems such celebrations, when in his word at COl 2:16 it states "do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a festival, new moon celebration or a Sabbath.

most here are x's, and this is a welcome site to share, vent, encourage or whatever that one can not get from the pharisaic organization they once belonged to.
