Daughter in Pain
by Undecided inmy daughter just called and is in bad pain.
she had an operation to try and stop it, but the doctor couldn't see any reason for it, other than stress.
she hurts in the lower section of the abdomen and rectum.

I have a neice that after years of loose stools or vomiting they labeled her with crohns disease only to be still in pain. in Minneapolis she went and had a surgery for an area that was blocked. she's been fine since and able to eat anything.

Marge wanted someone to ring her new doorbell, Lisa looks out and tells her mother that Jehovahs witnesses coming up the walk. the girl having on a white shirt, black skirt, and the guy wore also wore a white shirt but black pants.
anyway they get up to the door, didn't ring the doorbell . the sister looks at the brother and says "We shouldn't be trying to change other peoples religion. the next scene shows them turning and throwing down their literature as they walk away.
LOL my son's tell me thats been on several times, good point for the kids watching.

Before and After pics

i'm thinking of the ones where you'd get a group of teenagers 'hanging out' in a back street or some corner.the females would often have seriously backcombed and toussled hair and a scowl on their face and the males were often depicted as yobbos, leering and jeering and looking as menacing as was possible for jws playing make believe!.
then...miracle of miracles, there would be the 'after' shot where the amazing transformation had taken place and suddenly these youths would have radiant kingdom smiles, ankle length skirts and hair slides.

Our 15 year old would always point out how unreal the pictures were, commenting on the ladies always having dresses on.

Disturbances at Assemblies
by freedom96 ini remember hearing over and over about how wonderful it was to be gathered together at the assemblies, and how the brotherly love flowed, and everyone got along.. they would comment that where else could you get 10,000 and more people together where there was so much peace and unity.. we were flat out told there was no where that this occured.
that wordly people could never have that many people together, then riots would happen, fights, drunken idiots etc.. well, i have been to many busines seminars, where there are thousands of people, and they never get out of hand.
i have been to many concerts with thousands of people there, and they don't get out of hand.. how egotistical these power witnesses are to think they are the only ones that can get along peacefully.. i know there are cases of fights, or something at large events, but there has been things like that at assemblies too.. has anyone here seen fights, or disturbances at assemblies, or large witness gatherings?

Shunning.....
by Shytears ini could never really understand why jw's shunned the d'f or d'a persons.i have always tought it to be really unloving and cruel,i mean ignore the person and act like their invisable,no i wont do it.
well hello,im back.i have been ok past week, well to start my story off,i want to paint my room,so my mom and i went to walmart yesterday to buy some paint.we meant up with one of my mom jws friends and her 2 daughters,one is dissfellowshipped,the daug.that is d/f my family and her were really close,and she was like a big sister to me,she was also so sweet and very loving,shes 18, anyways after we were about to leave my mom goes,"i cant help it im going give desiree a hug"wow she did,my mom is not wicked after all,(i always would talk to her when i would see her and give her a hug,whenevr we would meet up some place,hehe)well i went give her a big hug too,and it felt good,and i hope she got some sort of comfort knowing that not everyone feels she is an evil person.
anyways while we were driving home,my mom says to me,u know people either gonna think were spiritually weak for doing that,are that we are very nice.i was like let them,i feel im doin the right thing by not acting like shes not a person.i hate shunning!!
