i went for a swim, having got baptised at orchard beach, new york.
i was disappointed that i didn't feel any sort of warm glow.. when my dad was baptised, it was at epsom circuit assembly, london.

how are you going to celebrate Christmas
by blindfool inthe news from this weekend seems to be that retail sales were great this weekend.
walmart set new records for sales.
thats great news for the us economy!.

we put off x-mas for 12 or 13 years, so this is going to be big at our house, I usually buy what everone needs when they need it, so this time if one of the boys needs new shoes, clothes or headphones they have to wait and get it all wrapped up.
I have though given more generously to the salvation army and may help out at an open door shelter, at the open door place, the people that stay there have to do some kind of work so it's going for someone who will be productive.

we kept in touch with the people that brought us in the truff over the years.
like there was some special bonding.. we disassociated here in aug, i guess it was announced in sept. we thought that word would travel and our old congregation would get the news.

on a more serious note; they've been very close to us, we've gone up there and stayed with them and they've come down here and stayed with us. so it's been a very supportive relationship. this is going to break their hearts, there will be tears and then anger.
this is the feeling I had when the date-line show aired and I read COC. We will just have to write them and try to tell them like it is. If we don't say anything they would for sure be down here persuading us to get on the ball again.

we disassociated here in Aug, I guess it was announced in Sept. we thought that word would travel and our old congregation would get the news. I know they were trying to call us a few times, ( it showed up on the caller ID )but I never answered.
I Got a sweet letter today telling us of all the christian news up there and they'd like to know how we and the boys are, who the new CO is and so on.
question for you guys is : how do we break this to them.
1. by christmas card
2. christmas card with letter of how discusted we are at the WTS
3.don't have to do anything since we are miles away
4. or let the one girl up there we know who is disfellowshipped and found us on this board tell her parents and they can break the news.

Outlaw said you come from a family of Bakers? we had a neighbor move recently who's son is going to baker school in Kansas, have you thought about that?(I mean working as one) with your experience you could do well in that field that has a demand, at least you'd get to eat. also we have a neice that went to culinary school and doing quite well. Yes people need rides,and they also go out to eat, but being a baker you'd be cleaning up after yourself and not whatever gets in the cab.

19th Wedding Anniversary!

she stuck with me for the next ten years through my 'hovahness.
her family, my family, accepted me back without question when i dumped the wts, and shed the fake, thin veneer of being a 'hovah.
