when we shared a hall with three congregations, they took turns every year as to what order you'd go. it was either 10 -1:00 or 3:30. so it was hurry up and eat to get to the afternoon one or with the last one, get home and try to make a decent good meal in a hurry. I hated that, it was like we couldn't do any project or go anywhere because the day was so broken up by those afternoon meetings. Oh the memories that are good to have said good-by to.

Sunday morning meetings
by JH ini find that sunday meetings started too late.
started at 10am and finished at 12 noon.
before people left the hall, drove home, got changed, cooked the dinner, and started to eat, it was past 1pm.

Where'd you sit in the KH?
by DblOSmith inour hall has 3 sections of seating, we always sat in the left section all the way in the back if possible heh.
it's funny: it seemed like all the foreign people, immigrants, etc, sat on the right side, all the "goody goods" sat in the middle, and all of the um "shady" people... all the people i would think would become defectors sat on the left.
hehe.

we sat mainly in the back with a seat near the isle. we would though change sitting from one side to the other until we adopted an older brother (as a sort of grandfather fiqure) who's wife no longer came , and he would sit in the same spot near the back.

I was up till midnight printing two cards for my hubby that I left on the table along with a huge chocolate kiss. He let me buy a ring that has a ruby with diamonds, but he hasn't even noticed the earings yet.

What do you think when you go by a Kingdom Hall?
by TresHappy ini drive by a kh every day, since it's very close to my work route, and i was wondering if anyone else secretly cheers that they don't have to go back into one of those things.
when i see a few cars parked there on the weekday, i am so thankful i don't have to go out and talk that stuff to strangers.
any thoughts?
