The year that is drawing towards its close, has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. after the mid afternoon song, bro pellechia reads the accounts report.. the circuit assembly account had a surplus of $3,000, the account balance was $47,000.

I beg to differ. As a member of Christendom and a regular church-goer I can assure you that although a collection is taken (as in the days of the apostle Paul) no one ever has to beg for money at our church.

JW Literature-why not public?

i started coming here so i could find out just what my wife was getting herself into.

I don't know if this is what you are referring to but in the Oct 8, 1968 Awake! -- "Is It Later Than You Think?" there is a picture of a train racing downhill to a washed out bridge. Obviously this is symbolic of the imminent destruction of the world as prophesied by the Watchtower cultists for 1975.

Regarding the two new boys on the Governing Body: Does anyone know how long they have "professed to be of the annointed." Have they always been "annointed" or did they just recently cash in some of their frequent flyer miles to get an upgrade?
