C. T. Russell, Knight Templar
by NotFormer ini've come across stuff on the web that states that russell claimed to be both a knight templar and a mason.
and also stuff on here that quotes various such organisations saying that russell didn't display enough knowledge about them to have ever been a member.. why do people act like such a revelation about russell is some sort of smoking gun?
rutherford purged russell from the organisation as soon as he could.. the people who would be more worried about the accusation would more likely to be members of the various surviving bible students groups.

Interesting that there are folks who do follow Russell today. They dress, have assemblies and conventions and are you would think hey, thats a sister!, mostly in Europe. AND they are not JW's--There has been a early morning program on for years from Texas I think, that promotes Russells books and teaching. My son ordered books from them. Pyramidology, Plan for the Ages, etc. exactly like he taught back in 18-1900's dying on Oct 31, 1916. Memorials are still held for him, from what I heard.

"individal, publisher, anyone" - those are the three designated labels now entered rather than "member" in this particular book - I would assume with the increasing legal woes due to child abuse that the org is now washed in, that the word "member" has been changed due to legalese and suits. This points the finger away from a "member".

Oh come on! No way! They just upped the membership to $15.00 per pub in our area... thats hard cash going in from one congregation, and with 100 pubs thats 1500.00 a month ---not to mention how many more in Canada- every month, forever until they raise it again next year. So much for a monthly contribution but remember- no more mortgages to re do halls... what halls?
The pubs do not remember that this so called monthly amount to the org was to cover any renos to be done.(which we still pay for )...now its a membership fee= but pubs are not longer members of this organization - they are just someone in this organization! The word "member" has been removed from all org books....i.e. Shepherding

This is a joke! Who are these guys? Any elders meetings were hot and heavy... they ran him down only after they decided to turf him... but whoever he was, he wasn't coming across as an elder, arms crossed, did have a tendency to be offput, but with 4 on one, who lovingly reading scripture and the wise words of the org (sarcasm) to show how much the org is a power hungry, manipulating machine albeit, once baptized, hook and line and sinker, your in for it. Bit and switch to the new world organization. Bet his daughters will have a pension and medical to go with their hard won efforts, and probably may still be associated in someway.

Regarding Morris resuming his" anointed" role, Hebrews 6: 4-6 aptly applies -"impossible to revive them again to repentance for they nail the Son of God to the stake again". If org does, their whole system falls apart! More so than now.
it is possible that if he likes to imbibe profusely, he may start spilling the beans and not give a shite about the org. or forget he signed off anything. Whiskey anyone?

Is the WT right that the Lamb's marriage is after Armageddon?
by Kosonen inthe wt org claims that the lamb's marriage will happen after armageddon, despite the fact that revelation 19 very clearly says that the lamb's marriage happens after the destruction of babylon the great.
and that after the lamb's marriage he with heavenly armies will go to destroy the wicked.. the wt claims that the order of events in revelation 19 is not really in that order referring to psalm 45. but i can't find in psalm 45 any explicit contradiction to revelation 19. .

- Re vs 39 -fulfillment of the promise--- looking at vs 16 it says that they are reaching out for a better better place, one belonging to heaven as God has prepared a place for them... this would indicate those who were named previously in Chtp 11 were in the same league as those in Paul's day, as shown in vs 40 when it says " so that they may not be made perfect apart from us"? Where is this place God prepared for them in heaven or on earth ? What scripture does it say that Abraham and the rest will be on earth? Abraham was promised an heir- leading to Jesus, land, to be a father of many- what scripture does it say he will be resurrected to earth and not in the "better place belonging to heaven ?
I realize that those who died prior to Jesus' sacrifice remained in the grave but after his sacrifice, things took a turn but no one knows to what degree. Why is there a date of 1914/1918 attributed to the ascension of the "Holy ones"? Are you depending on Daniels count of time?
