  China where it started ,83,000 / USA now <400,000 How come ?

  am i missing something here ?

  how is it that where this covid 19 started , in wuhan china, china has only ,reportedly 83,000 for the whole country ?

  whereas in the united states of america the figure is just under 400,000 ?.

  Sorry but the Chinese culture breeds disease. I'm jot talking about just the filthy markets, but day to day loving. Prior to my career change I spent 8 months in Asia.

  The Japanese and South Koreans levels of cleanliness are leaps and bounds ahead.

  Washing hands , covering one's mouth, etc... are foreign concepts. I have never been anywhere that I felt this way. People walked out of bathrooms as if the sinks were not there.

  At multiple places people eat they will literally wipe a bowl out with a rag they have on their shoulders or counters and fill it with your food.

  Is this video about U.S. hospitals really true?

  the reason i ask is that i got a call from a friend last week who had to go to one of the biggest hospitals in scotland because of an eye injury.. he said there wasn't one other single person seeking medical attention when he walked in - only medical staff standing around with nothing to do.

  Not sure if I should even put family info out there but my wife family has a member in St. BARNABUS HOSPITAL in NJ in a Very high population area.

  The individual has their own room and stated that it is not as bad as he thought in regards to overcrowding. It is an epidemic, but I am guessing its being slightly exagerrated.

  Well I keep hearing reports of how rural hospitals are in turmoil. Meanwhile I leave in rural rural rural North Carolina and the hospitals are empty.

  We have a total of 3 cases of carona in the county. All 8 neighboring counties are rural and have 1 to 5 cases.

  The big cities have more instances but they are not stressed as I have been told by friends in those areas.

  Differences between UK and US Corona Virus TV Updates

  i'm in the uk, and most days over the last 2 weeks i've watched the 5pm uk government update on the corona virus situation which includes questions from the media.

  generally speaking i've found the whole update, including the questions and answers, to be respectful, informative and non combative, with, to the best of my recollection, very little mention of politics and blame.

  certainly no political point scoring.

  I hate to say this but CNN seems like a wing of the Russian propaganda machine.

  It's clear you dont like Trump, fine. But fir god sake we are in the midst of a fucking pandemic, why do you need to try to bash this man and ask questions that are of no benefit other than to make people angry with him.

  When the CDC said death toll will be Lower, and closer to the administration's projections, Anderson Cooper seemed disappointed. Like wtf

  like the guy or not, i don't know how this guy can talk so much, giving fact after fact and analyze what is going on, not just in new york but across the country.

  he's not reading from notes and there are no teleprompters.

  he gives about an hour to an hour and a half at press conferences every day and fox news carries it.. i mean, as i am listening, he's saying they moved 802 ventilators from this state to that state, 412 came here to new york .... on and on.

  I wonder if he can easily recall the number of felonies committed by illegals in his sanctuary city? The numbers of gang members terrorizing local shops in upstate ny, and the exact number of dollars they are being extorted for?

  He wasn't this sharp when he was the head of Urban Development a couple decades back when his poor policies made US public housing developments worse

  this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.

  latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.

  the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

  trying to put politics aside (even though that won't really work), but ny governor andrew cuomo is blowing the other politicians out out the water (orange man [trump] and the lizard [biden]).. i don't know if cuomo has a usb port in the back of his head plugged into a hard drive but the guy speaks, analyzes and talks coherently.

  the orange man always passes difficult questions to someone else.

  the lizard can't comprehend what the question is but tries to answer something.. cuomo comes out with facts, analysis and direction on what needs to be done.

  Career politicians spend copious amounts of time learning how to deliver speeches that they haven't written and how to deliver messages in a way that sway people.

  I knew plenty of JW capable of doing the same. Remember Guiliani was called "America's Mayor" and was so calm and measured during his tenure. Everyone loved him.... now not so much.

  The Cuomo's are douchebags. Look at young "Fredo" Cuomo threatening to beat some guys ass for calling him a name like a rabid animal, yet goes on CNN and acts like he is a kind gentle soul. These people are frauds.

  It's your emotions. He hasn't done anything.... The Cuomo family going back to papa bear are all blowhards.
