  Jw.com and titles?

  i was thinkin lately about the use of titles and how they can be problematic such as the ones used on here such as jedi member,emperor class etc.think why r these titles put into effect is it maybe to encourage others to stay committed to jw.com and thus strive for a better title or prominence or even to the advantage of the owner of this website to remain loyal to the website and to keep the number of visitors high.you see if any of you who are previous witnesses well know how the use of titles can serve to no advantage titles only cause envy,division,etc "thats what i think"

  Mothers-In-Law---GRRRRR!

  last week i spoke to my mother-in-law for the first time since visiting her ugly ass, at christmas, in florida.

  i, unfortuantly, picked up the telephone without checking caller id.

  it was not her usual sunday evening call.

  Meeting Attendance and Being DAed

  i was just reading a post here that some one said they were dfed and there was a coulple of daed persons attending the co visit.. i can not think of any senerio that would place me in that position.. please clue me in why would one go to a kh if one has daed oneself?.

  this sounds as if one is suffering from sadism.. that is the last place i will ever go since i am daed.. hell is truth seen too late.

  i received a fax, at the office today, regarding the "un" thing.. it came complete with url for http://www.unwatchtower.com/.

  it sure caused a stir in the office, where they know i'm an ex-jw.. anybody else receive it, or know who sent it?

  Comments from the CO today

  i went to the meeting today to hear the public talk given by the visiting co. the talk dealt with jehovah's secret dwelling place and how we can all be taking advantage of "fleeing to safety" as it were, especially as the days are getting wicked as he mentioned.

  he brought out the dangers of listening to apostates (there were 2 people in the congregation who disassociated themselves recently, which automatically meant that they were apostates according to the co's comments).

  then he further elaborated on the fact that there were about 14,000 witnesses disfellowshipped in the usa each year and in canada 1400, about the size of a circuit assembly - also he said how terribly dishonorable it would be to be df'd and be as a dead person as it were (i felt so embarrassed as i am df'd) - during the talk he brought out two points which were extremely misleading if not outright lies: he said that just after the disaster of sept 11th, thousands of people "wanted to flee to security to the watchtower building and that they felt that they needed this security".

  ive not been so angry for a long time.. the watchtower article entitled jehovah hates the course of treachery in the may 1st 2002 issue is a masterpiece of bullshit.

  there are so many points in it i feel that i should make more than one thread.. in this thread i will deal with the issue of marriage discussed from paragraph 13 onwards.

  paragraph 15 warns against marrying an unbeliever and confirms the societys view that only jehovahs witnesses will survive armageddon, so why bother marrying someone who will die soon?.

  JW Doctors can give Blood Transfusions.

  however, they do not do so in the case of one of jehovahs dedicated witnesses.
