  what proactive things have you done [or intend to do] to warn others about the cult you have escaped?

  the unfortunate fact of life is that we tend to look only at our own personal benefits from leaving the cult if not careful.

  It has been quite a while since I have been here.

  To answer the question. I have written a book called

  "The Dream Pushers--captives in a system of deception."

  It deals with 31years,1969 - 2000 the UN debacle, higher education, the fall of Jerusalem, 1975 false prophecy, oral sex,the death of a son and wife due to the blood issue.

  It is going through the final draft and then I hope to find an agent and publisher.

  I do make it a point to tell everybody I meet that I was a JW,an elder,and I disassociated myself. It is nice to see the response and disbelief as I relate my story. I gurantee you that they don't want to listen to the witnesses around here.

  both of my son's are daddies??.

  hunter wyatte was born on the 15th.

  he had an eight hour labor so he's sleeping.. daniel james was born on the 17th.

  i notice when these words are use on this firum they have a "tm" associated with them.

  so are disassociated and disfellowshipped words that are owned by the wtbts?.

  An Inconvenient Pool - Algore

  this is from the wall street journal (page a12), thursday, march 1, 2007: (sorry i don't know how to scan).

  "there is an irresistible quality to the story about al gore's energy hungry tennessee home, replete with a heated poolhouse that burns more natural gas--$500/month worth--than most of us can afford to use while heating houses that shelter people, as opposed to swimming lanes.

  did you know that mr. gore's house uses more electricity in a month than the average household does in a year?.

  In California, PG&E (Pacific Gas & Electric) has a program that

  even the poor can buy into. HA Ha. They can pay $4.65 (minimum),but if your conscience is worth more than $4.65 you can pay even more on top of the bill and the company will plant a tree.

  PG&E says they are expecting 4% of their customers will enter into the carbon footprint program. They also are expecting an extra $20 million dollars added revenue entering ithe company's cofers.

  So all of us poor fools lets give our utility companies an extra 20 mil on top of their billion dollar

  monthly intakes.

  Be late paying your bill, see how much they are concern.

  Let me see, I owe $473.00 on my heating bill this month. I really feel bad, it's -20 degrees outside, so Mr. North Western Power Company here is $4.65 extra for you to plant a tree to help solve global warming.

  Yeah, right, I buy into that.

  Oh by the way, I own a corn stove (a mutifuel burning bio energy- corn kernels, pellets, olive & cherry pits) for heating our 2400 sf 100 year old house.

  My utilities dropped from 473.00 to 200.00.

  But I still don't buy into gobal warming.

  I'm sitting in South Dakota, we have had the coldest winter in decades,

  the weather man say.

  I have 12 " snow in my yard, and it is worst in other parts of the country.

  The Earth and weather runs in cycles. In the 70s or 80s they were crying an ice age is coming, an ice age is coming.

  Question for anyone who is knowledgeable about construction costs

  my house has a carport that is about 10' wide or so, just a one car deal.

  as you can see in the pics below, the carport has a flat roof - a flat roof that leaks water unfortunately, and has leaked for as long as i've had the house (5 years).

  the roof is covered with rubber, but somewhere water gets through.

  i was a license ca. contractor,with that said and 2 bucks

  i can buy a cup of coffee.

  check along the edge where the roof id attached to the

  house, there should be metal flashing if not water is seeping

  under the roof sheathing and running down rafters and puddling

  in a low area of the ceiling

  i would check from thr inside first. cut a hole close to the wall in the

  ceiling get a flaslight and look where the roof is attached to house.

  during warm weather you can take a hose and run water next to house

  then use flash light and check ...go from there

  Elders in denial?

  after i was df and seriously questioning my faith in the org ( won't call it the truth) i gave a copy of coc to an elder i have known since i was a young man.

  he read it found it disturbing and said that he didn't realize problems that he found at his level of involvement went so high.

  i then gave him a copy of "in search of christian freedom" he never read it said that he didn't want to question his faith in the brothers.

  I was an elder, but a lower class one. I did not associated with the elders much. I was ignorant about the entire workings of the org. I didn't hang around Bethelites or the eleite. I was common and so were the ones I hung around with. Ignorance is bliss.

  I 've been reading Randy Watters' thesis, and I know in 1972

  a black elder was removed on some bourder line charge.

  we were watching a program called 'blood years' on some channel.

  it was about the israeli/palestinian conflict.

  i was commenting about how i would hate to live in a place like that with such violence all around.

  Simply put; it was the Roman army entering into the temple and destroying it. It has no meaning for today. Everything that is typical has an anti-typical mwaning and any body can analyze the scriptures and then apply what happened years before to things that has recently happened.

  It is like they told us, the brothers said, If the coal company delivers the coal we will know that God is with us. The coal was delivered and guess what...
