Had the craziest dream that my wife Disassociated from the JW cult

what a crazy dream, it was so cool....she came to me and told me she da'd from the cult.

i was so happy in my dream.

when i woke, it took me a few seconds to realize it was only a dream and that she is still brainwashed.

JWs use physiological manipulation and coercive control as cult's do.

JWs do not respect other religions they view them as the work of the devil and discribe them as a harlot Babylon the great and will soon to be destroyed.

not a lot to say, except that i studied with jw's then gave up when i realised it wasn't the truth as they call it.. the ordinary jw's are generally nice people, but their elders are mostly little dictators from what i saw.

look forward to meeting people here who are less judgemental..

Was one of those dictators for about 5 years then resigned because of nepotism,favouritism double standards and lack of following theocatic direction among the body of elders .

Zoom meetings to continue thru July

co is coming and expecting to zoom it in july.

also there is no talk about starting to slowly go back to the hall.

like having 1 group at the hall and the rest on zoom, etc.

How Is The Governing Body Viewed Today By Jehovah’s Witnesses?

are they revered like the pope is to catholics??

back in the 1960s , fred franz and n.h knorr were the only men that counted.

after franz died, the governing body became more of an idolized entity.

Cognitive dissonance

When people holds two beliefs that contradict one another.

The continued selling of kingdom halls yet a continued expansion.

Keep on begging for money when Russell said if we have to beg for money no longer have god's blessings.

The child abuse scandals and the two witness rule.

The danger of the internet yet know use it for almost everything.

So people see one thing but still feel that they should trust the governing body.

therefore, do your best to serve jehovah with humility.

True humility would give you the courage to admit that your wrong and then do whatever is needed to correct it.

The governing body will never do that because of pride .

Coping/Living/Understanding

i’m relatively new to this forum but am far from new when it comes to living life as a jw.

i wanted to throw out there my own personal experience and feelings and welcome any conversations (i’m mighty chatty and don’t have much for friends when it comes to jw’s) .

i hit the turning of an era nearly a month ago of legally becoming an adult, raised as a j dub my whole life.

Sorry to read what your going through ,

Physiological manipulation and coercive control is used by JWs who claim to love you and have your best interest at heart in the same way domestic abusers use it to control their victims as someone on the road to be a survivor of both .

You could think about possibly contacting a domestic abuse agency's and explain the situation at home , there very good at listening and it's anonymous and confidential.

Killing ZOOM ZOO

ok. i’ve been thinking on how to kill these stupid zoom kingdom halls.

and maybe entertainment in doing it.. this is what i came up with.. record your zoom meetings.

find interesting individuals in the hall.

There's a YouTube video of a zoom suit but I don't know how to upload it would be good for any who zooms the meeting and how to drink beer during the meeting.

i’ve asked this question to a few elders and bethelites but they don’t seem to understand or like the question.

to start off we have to agree that jehovah is all powerful.

A child born and then is abused was that predestined for that child?

The person who abused that child were they predestined to abuse that child?

or is your god for the predestination of this situation?
