some posters on other threads talked about "obedience" being an important factor to get circuit assembly and district assembly parts.

Absolutely no one would have guessed I was depressed to the point of thinking about suicide every waking minute. Most people said they wanted to have a marriage as happy as our was - he was abusing me.

As a teenager my natural expression caused people to tell me, "You look like you're about to cry!" My mother was constantly telling me to "put a coat hanger in your mouth" ( picture it). Our family looked squeaky clean from outside too. But my father was verbally abusive. I hid in my room as much as possible to avoid him.

My decision about "family shunning"
by Gojira_101 insince i've been off work this week because of spring break, i've really been missing my grandma.
when i have left wt (i'm fading and april will be 6 months) and i told her about january, she has been shunning me.
i told myself "i will respect her wishes/decision..etc" this morning i woke up and said "to hell with shunning!

I decided the same thing. My 83-year-old mother lives 5000 miles away from me (with my very hard-nosed brother), so it's not like she has a way of finding out if I'm okay. I decided to be merciful. Every few months I send her a letter just to let her know I'm okay and what's going on in my life. I've been doing it for 8 years. About 5 years ago she actually wrote back to me! In her letter she told me that I'm old enough to know what I want, just be careful. She's never written again. I suspect my brother found out that she had answered me and freaked out.

Scary moment: Watchtower Study conductor got mad about answer

a repreat of a repreat of a repreat.. but now it comes:.
one of the last summary questions one of the local simple brothers gave the answer that we have to take care for technology.

My husband MISSED the meeting today! Unheard of!
by Julia Orwell inhe decided to take me somewhere nice in the country for a day instead, and when he suggested it last night i was amazed that he would have even thought of missing the meeting!
he was one of those guys who only missed a meeting, literally, if he had a spinal injury and couldn't move!.
but, i've been sharing a little of the ttatt with him, teensy tiny bits that i can substantiate from the bible or other reputable sources.
