an old friend, a "brother" called from italy.

updated on a few things.. most interestingly, he said they just had their final assembly at their "beautiful assembly hall".. why would it be the final assembly?

because it's sold!.

The film is very realistic. The sisters going from house to house, the praying at home, the family life, how the father speaks with the children about higher education, university, the baptism scene, the judicial hearing was like real, the behaviouor the elders, the outfit, the thoughts and shyness of the girl at the first sexual experiienesm, the non-greeting of ex-JW, the not talking with the own little sister because the sister is now not in the truth anymore....everything top, a very realistic script and sceneplay, but the film isnt really thrilling or exciting, a little bit boring though.

I felt like those actors were really JWs.

Russia --- is a good headline.... Now we will see what orthodox Russia aka Putin declares to be EXTREMIST and what not. The court will certainly work out a list of what is to be called extremist.

In any case a better way would be not to ban the religion, but to work together.

JWs would even agree to pray for the orthodox church in each assembly, christians pray for each other.

But the extrem aspects have to be put on the table once and for all. Perhaps this can even have positive effects.

There should be created working groups,

Many branch committee members from the European Association of JW's and other Branches around the world are present in Russia

What a great crowd of helpers! All helping in Russia.

The travel expenses of the high caliber brothers are supposedly payed from the donations boxes where the money of litte girls' saving boxes and widows is collected from one of the hundreds legal entities in Russia.

The russian brothers (and sisters) are not able to defend the religion themselves at the hearing. Why not? Would a russian voice not have more power!

Ah! If it turns around the assets and money they have to protect and the assertions of claims they come from everywhere even preventive.

Have the russian brothers themselves already given up, given the matter in the hand of USA?

Did they internal already agreed to the liquidation of the watchtower in Russia and that now everything will be organised by Europe.?

Does it turn at the hearing at all around religion or about what money goes to USA and Europa if they leave Russia.

Yesterday we watched the italian film "the wordly girl" presented at the Italian film festival 2016.

the film which plays in Italia and shows the daily life of JW, a family with daugthers, a love story with a wordly man, the judicial commitee meetings after her "adultery" of the young woman, how she becomes a "worldly girl", what the elders tell her when they disfellowshipped her, the privat questions about sexual details of her first sexual experiences, the interrogations, the tears, how she gets over the relationship with the guy who was really a bad society, he pulled her to deal with drugs hided in watchtower literature and disguised as JW-girl. But lately she broke with him and she lately gets free from everything also from the cult. The film ends with the scene when she meets another former JW girlfriend and now EX-JW, whom she didnt greet in the past because whe was also disfellowshipped. But after the excommunation and the disastrous failed relationship with the guy they now become friends and help each other. FINE

In the church it was originally usual for all christians to drink consecrated sacramental wine / Altar wine not only for the priests!

In the Early Church both clergy and laity received the consecrated wine by drinking from the chalice, after receiving a portion of the consecrated bread.
Due to many factors, including the difficulty of obtaining wine in Northern European countries where the climate was unsuitable for growing grapes, drinking from the chalice became largely restricted in the West to the celebrating priest, while others received communion in the form of bread only. This also reduced the symbolic importance of choosing wine of red colour.[2]

The church had special wine cultivated in special vineyards! And it was perhaps expensive to serve wine for all churchmembers at each church service.

So it is not true that wine is only drunk by priests to show that they have a special relationship with god as some may argue.!

but i just learned something about it.. i try to look at different translations of the bible and the lexham english bible words it a bit different.... 16 for in this way god loved the world, so that he gave his one and only son, in order that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but will have eternal life.

According to the testimony of verses 16-17, the merciful, graceful God wants the good, indeed the best, the salvation for all men through Jesus (δι 'αὐτοῦ).

The intention for the classical mission and judgment terminology is emphaysized by the rhetorical stylistic means of correction μὴ / οὐ - ἀλλά, in verses 16c-d.17a.c:

not should perish -- but might have eternal life;

Not sent the Son of God into the world to judge ---- but to save them.
