Classless American Behavior
by Pathofthorns ini was watching the hockey game yesterday and i thought i heard 'booing' during canada's national anthem.
earlier in the week the same thing occurred during the raptor's playoff game.. as some are aware canada has been mourning and burying their 4 dead soldiers due to the incompetence of an american fighter pilot who dropped a bomb on them while they were carrying out training exercises.
flags are flying at half-mast as canadians try to make sense of such a careless mistake.. i find it hard to believe any civilized person would show such disrespect to another country to 'boo' them during their national anthem at any time, and more so during a time of mourning because of death caused directly by american hands.. i sincerely hope american media chastised their countrymen who showed such insensitive, classless, ignorant and disrespectful behavior to their neighbours.

That is terrible. Some people are just idiots I guess. Certainly however do not lump it with all americans as you'll find that most would not ever do such a thing as that.

I survied an heart attack. !!!!
by rekless inyes sir ree bob tail, i had a big one.
i had four hours into my brand new job making $18.00 and hour which would have topped out at $25.00 in two months when i got this quezzy feeling in my chest and became light headed and weak kneed.
one of the girls looked out her office door and said, "do you need help?" raising my head off the the lumber pile i answered, "yes, i think i'm having a heart attack?" the pari-medics arrived within minutes ushered me to dessert spring critical care center in las vegas, nv.

Does JWs hate the Military?
by AjaxMan inbased on what i read from yadirf's thread on alternative service, it does give me the impression that the wts and the jehovah's witnesses hate the military, and that any jw who joins the military will be df'd.. therefore, i post the questions if jws hate the military?
i'd like to see all your views and explanations.. btw rrmayer or rick, thanks for posting the "soldier's creed".

Your welcome. It is safe to say that they would DF you for joining the military. They would not want you to belong to an organization with more values and honor then the WTS ya know.

Sounds like they didn't half know what the hell they were doing. As high priced as photographers are, I'm sure if they do too many people that way they'll find their asses out of business as they should.
In the meantime I'd be kicking their asses in court getting my money back.

What was the topic at the Special Talk??????
by lydia injust wondering here as i had recieved a very cold letter (via e-mail) from a "loving dub" telling me i was a very bad person.
it just seems funny to me that i recieved it after the date of the talk ( this person knew full well i had d'ad myself 2 years ago - and had no problem until now) and was wondering what sort of "new darkness' they were spreading on the fields of the dubs .
