recently it has come to my attention that the witnesses have implanted tracking devices in all of their members, and some are even active inside former members.
the device works on a very open level, by causing the witnesses to report all behavior that is unseen and to also report on others that trust them.
the device is far stronger then any used by the government, cia or any foreign power.

does anyone remember the news report about an old lady who was so fed up with the dubs coming to her door that she locked two of them up in her cellar?
the dubs were missing for some time before the other dubs who'd been in fs with them called the police who eventually found the ones in the cellar.. my question: shouldn't the dubs have gone to the elders instead of bringing the police into it?
that's how they handle other problems...
hahahaha.... Maybe they should be df'd for involving the police

here is what this "special topic" describes with deadly false propaganda.. "a person might ask why we would single out the witnesses in this matter.
as with other fundamentalist cults, the watchtower goes by the bible advice only when it comes to exposing crimes regarding children or anyone else, that there must be two or more witnesses to a crime.
since abuse and molestation are rarely seen by anyone other than the perpetrator and the victim (and the victim will rarely testify against himself), perhaps hundreds or thousands of cases have gone unpunished, and the perpetrator has not been brought to the police, and the congregation has not been told.
Biting my tongue on this one to refrain from using all sorts of pretty language.

did anyone else have witness parents who the congregation thought were the "model" family, yet behind closed doors all hell broke loose?
i remember a time when my family was choosen to do a part at an assembly about the ideal family- yet behind the scenes, we were beat, yelled at, sworn at, never studied, had a family from hell, yet others always commented how "perfect" and christian our family was.
being a witness leaves deep & permanent scars.
Amazing what a few phony smiles in public can make people think isn't it?

anyone on here have a "most embarrasing witness moment" from childhood?
mine is from 7th grade- that was 20 years ago- but i still cringe when i think of it.
almost too hard to write down- but maybe it will be therapeutic & part of the healing process?
Standing there like a jackass while everyone recited the pledge of allegiance..LOL

it seems like there has been a lot of talk here about anger, bitterness, resentment of the jdubs, and so on... i've read a few posts where current dubs, or someone in the process of leaving, asks 'why are y'all here, on this site, so many years after you left?
' or 'why all the anger and resentment?
why not let it go & move on with your life?'.
Some will always be angry and thats up to the individual. Personally I am not or have ever been angry about my personal experience in the JW's, however I do get angry when I read the propaganda B.S. they throw out there. I find it interesting the crap that has gone on since I left 13 years ago and all of that. Some will always be angry and bitter or at least one of each and some will not. It's a personal choice, but I won't judge or ridicule anyone for being either way, Some people went through a lot of hell at the hands of the JW's.

if you had the power, and ability to change one thing in your life, be it a major life changing thing, or a small but significant thing, tell me what and how you would do it, and how it actually was, and how it would be different after the change.
please don't include jw'ism as that's something we would all want to change
if you tell me yours, i'll tell you mine
I would have stayed in the Navy the second set of 10 years and got the pension instead of getting out after 10 years

this came in my e-mail today.
rep. istook's proposed amendment was introduced in the house of representatives.
81, the first amendment restoration act.
To both sides on this issue, why not find something really important to argue over?
Exactly.. WHy don't they get a life?
