Jews for Jesus

i've done a little research since leaving the wts and am having difficulty sorting out what i really believe in.

after some studying of different faiths and their doctrines, i find i can relate to the jewish faith....except i do believe in jesus.

so i found out about this faith called jews for jesus.

I have checked out the "Jews for Jesus" here in Kansas City. The experience was sort of like being with Charismatic Christians who were all wishing that they were Jews. But they are not. The Rabbi kept reminding these Gentiles that they were not true Jews. Of course, that didn't stop the Gentiles from pretending.

Except for the Rabbi, there were no natural Jews that believed in Jesus present at the meetings . It really isn't worth the time that you might invest.

If you want to find out more about the Jewish faith, enroll in a course in traditional or reformed Judaism at your local Jewish temple. The lessons are usually free of charge. It is a surprisingly kind and practical religion.

A question for the English

i have no intentions of starting a flame.

but, i have a few questions.. i was reading this thread http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=24652&site=3&page=1 and it occured to me that americans and brits have a lot not in common.

i will admit i am not very educated when it comes to england.

Thank you for your concern about our tea making ability in the United States. It is alarming to think about.

I hope you worry less about us when I tell you that I would never drink tea out of a styrofoam cup (unless it meant not getting any tea). I know how to make the perfect cup of tea and I don't use Lipton, Tetley or Earl Grey when I do. I also like my tea hot, sweet and creamy. Upon occasion, if I have it, I wil also enjoy my tea time with a bit of clotted cream, strawberry jam and scones.

Hmmm, I think that I am in the mood for a spot of tea right now.

Hillary, the next time you are in the U.S. look me up 'round tea time. We will drink our tea and have a good gossip.

Hi Sunscapes,
I, for one, believe that there is a conspiracy. I think the conspiracy consists of this guy trying to scare you into buying all the expensive herbs, oxygen machines etc that his friends are selling.

If you follow the chemtrails link to its conclusion, this guy will tell you how to keep your immune system healthy so that the chemicals don't make you sick. Then he offers to sell you some of the things he suggests. I assure you, these things are not cheap.

It's a conspiracy, all right.

Eating right for your blood type.

over the last 7 weeks i've been trying to follow macrobiotic and eating right accourding to my blood type.. the results have been really good and i highly recomend it.. my cholesteral has gone from 290 to 184 and my wieght has dropped from 200 to 172 and i eat regularly and perhaps a little more than most people.. i will provide more info latter if i get inquiries.. .

london (reuters) - older men are better lovers and have fewer impotence problems than their younger counterparts, with the "male menopause" a myth pedaled by drug companies to sell their products, according to a british psychologist.. dr. lorraine boule, from sheffield university in northern england, told the british psychological society conference that men became more skilled sexually as they get older, british newspapers reported on saturday.. "older men sustain erections for longer, are longer coming to orgasm, and satisfy women better.

sexual activity does diminish with age, but the quality should get better," she was quoted as saying by the daily mail.. boule's conclusions were based on a survey of 185 married professional men aged 30 to 60. while 22 percent of men under 46 suffered erectile problems, only 16 percent of those over 46 did.

Either Dr. Lorraine Boule is lying or the men she interviewed are lying.

I've had both younger and older men as lovers. Consistantly, the younger ones are better lovers. And they hold out longer. Also, let's not forget how eager they are to please....

OMG, I am getting tingly just thinking about it.

A general apology

i've been a bit short with people today in the forums, and i shouldn't have been quite so abrupt.

i get frustrated when i see exjws make the same mistake and join up with political groupthink just as they used to join with governing body groupthink.

it's all propaganda, as i keep trying to point out, but the fact is that you can believe whatever you want without my input.. i realize i keep harping on conservative hypocrisy lately, but that's because they are in power right now.

I merely pointed out that John Nash did not say that. He never even gave a speech. That part was made up in Hollywood.

Sorry, Speechless; John Nash never said those words. As a matter of fact, he wasn't allowed to give a speech at the awards ceremony. The Nobel committee thought that he would embarrass himself.

You can find out more about the real John Nash on line. His true story is more interesting than some trite Hollywood movie.
