  Cougars, Reptiles and Bears. Oh My! Question for Hikers, Outdoor Enthusiasts and Hunters

  professor and i are going to the smokey mountains next week for white water rafting and hiking.

  although i adore animals, i am a little nervous about the wild life i might encounter while on the hiking trails.

  in particular i am worried about bears, cougars and snakes.

  Men are Adorable!

  this afternoon i had the pleasure of listening to my dad, husband and son discuss timing belts, the teeth they rest on, camshafts, and other car parts that i cant recall at such a late hour.

  they were totally engrossed in the conversation and it was fun listening to them talk.

  the air was thick with testosterone and they were so manly that i just had to smile about it.

  Anybody from Eureka Springs, AR Area?

  the professor and i got a sudden urge to take off to eureka springs for the weekend.

  we will be leaving here at 1700 hours with arrival time around 1900. we will be staying tonight and tomorrow night and would love to meet up with others in the area.

  we are rather gentle people and promise to be on our best behaviour.

  there is about a foot of snow on the ground in the kansas city area.

  i was at my son's house on sunday and decided to go out a side door to get to my car.

  when i opened the door i noticed some very strange animal tracks.
