  i've just noticed that some here have been posting for years, thousands of posts, some average 2, 5, even up to 10 posts per day, every day for years.

  i am relatively new to the site, just wondering, what keeps those long time posters comming back?

  i can actually see in my own case a time when my interest will wane.

  last thursday i left a mail at the mailbox of the co of the cong i atleast untill now still attend.

  the mail concerned the child abuse issue, quoted the nytimes article alleging 24k recorded abusers, child abuse policy & some other things child abuse things that elude my mind.

  today at the weekly watchtower brainwashing.

  basd on my comment to another post titled "1979," i thought that this would make an interesting separate topic.. a little history: many here are aware that i was an ms and then elder and of the anointed while a jw.

  i openly professed anointing for 20-years of the 27-years i was associated with the watchtower.

  since that time, i have totally and completely renounced all but one watchtower doctrine.

  time has been around forever and has been a 'witness' (pardon the pun) to much of their history .. clear back to the 1930s.

  I have been a member of this forum for 5 years, and I don't really ever see myself not comeing back to check on this site from time to time... Having both sides of my famley in the WTBS, JWD helps to keep me up to date of the goings on in New York...

  there were mother's with babies, there were those suffering from vericose veins that had to stand up.

  what about the rest of us?

  in my cong there were only a few "gifted ones" who'd do sound and it was behind the literature counter (our hall was tiny).

  How old will you be....

  when you will have been an exjw for as long as you were a jw?.

  i was raised in the jws from before the age of 10, and stopped going to the kh at the age of 31. i was involved with the jws for a total of 23 years.

  i will be 54 years old by the time i have spent more of my life as an exjw than i did as a jw..

  I will reach the half way point this year. I was in from age 0-16 and have been a full time opposer from age 16 till now. My 33ed birthday is coming up on Dec 30...

  Do you think it's right?

  as much as you may be mad at the society, the brothers or family, do you think it is ethical to post their letters or e-mails?.

  i kind of feel that these things were written with the intent of confidentiality and it is kind of unethical.

  (please, no disrespect to those who don't agree).. any thoughts?.
