I am sick of all this hype about OJ. There is more important news out there about Iraq, the insurance industry fallout (especially in South Florida), the Jena 6 racism in Louisiana, etc. Who cares about OJ.................. It's quite obvious this was a set-up (pre-recorded, etc) with bunch of idiots............... The news media should be concentrating on more important news that is effecting everyone. Ronin1

Tell them you do not meeting in clandestine meetings in back rooms of KH's or front rooms, etc. (The elders gave my husband a note one time during the meeting to tell him they wanted to meet with me after the meeting was over. I let them know I do not meet in back rooms anywhere. That ended that request).
Tell them when you feel you need an encouraging shepherding call, you will let them know and give them a call to visit you at home.
Simple as that. They cannot make you meet with them.

the girl is 20 and he's 24 and was already married to an australian woman 10 years older than him.
he has no use for his crack addicted mother and he tolerates his younger sister that seems to be on the same course as her mommy.

It does not matter what race or ethic group this man is from.
She is truly inexperienced and that should be your main concern.
If you have tried to talk to her on the basis of her inexperience and not on the basis of race, and she still is determined to go forward with him, there is nothing you can really do.
Try to be supportive and advise her when you can.

My Pioneer mother wants me (DFed) to fix her computer... HA!!!
by Hangin_on inwhen i call my mother she says she can't talk to me because i am dfed.. i asked her to help me and my pregnant wife move and she said "i don't think i can do that"... whos not allowing her to do it?.
she always calls me if her car or her computer breaks.. she called me today because her computer broke.
so.... i turned the tables on her.

i can't take this!
right out the front door of the bookstore.. i wasn't angry.

Many years ago I was at work in my boss' office and was having a nervous breakdown and did not know it.
My boss took one look at me, told me I was having a breakdown, gave me the name of a mental health professional and told me to go immediately.
His quick thinking and help eventually saved my life.
Get all the help you need and please take care of yourself.

I am Frustrated beyond belief~/Please read!
by restrangled injust had a conversation with my mom about 13 million spent on defending and losing court cases by the society.. i argued that they can't argue against the catholics when they themselves are guilty of the same.. she replied she didn't care.
(after sending them $100,000.00 dollars) she stated that the catholic church had spent billions defending them selves and if the jw's had only spent millions .
that the society had spent billions sending a message, and if i didn't like their message then leave her alone and the rest of the group.. i am burning with rage......i was accused of trying to destroy her beliefs, and if i was not in agreement to reject the entire religion........which of course i have already done many moons ago.. r..

Many of us on this board have family members that are truly brainwashed and no matter what wrongs the WT commits, they will still by them.
Once you presented the facts to her, let it go.
She will only believe you when her eyes are truly opened. And unfortunately, that may be never.
