Divine plan of the ages
by confused and lost inwhilst reading the chapter entitled "our lords return" in russells book "divine plan of the ages" i came across these interesting quotes :
to this last view the majority of christians of all denominations assent (notwithstanding the creeds of some to the contrary), from a feeling that any other view would be irreconcilable with justice on god's part.
but do the scriptures support this last view?

This is of course the big difference between Russell's and the Governing Body today. Russell taught everyone will have the opportunity to be saved in due time when they come to know Jesus, today the Society says you can only know Jesus through them.

JW came into work today.
by noni1974 ini was at work in my office as my boss jokingly calls it.a lady walk in to get 2 tires she had ordered put on.i have her sit down to wait because all of my bays were full.i noticed she was reading a small paper bound book.she was underlining it as she read.i got the feeling she may be a jw.i wanted to ask her but i didn't.my number one job at work is to make customers feel comfertable and i thought telling her i'm a raging apostate might make her feel uncomfertable being in the same room with me.. when she opened her walet to give me her visa card i saw the blood card.it confirmed my suspitions of her.. you will be happy to know i got my apostate cooties all over her service car and visa card..

by loosie indoes anyone have or can anyone tell me where i can get a copy of the wt article that was studied recently regarding oral sex?.
i asked a friend who is still in and who i know practices it what she thought about the commands coming from brooklyn reagrding oral sex.
so now i need to read the article.. and please don't tell me to go to the hall to get a copy.

it says which religious organization and then it says 'jehovah's witness' - should it not be jehovah's witnesses or even the watchtower society.... .

As to the question you ask? Well, when the organization reorganized, it no longer made a distinction between the Watchtower publishing house and the Jehovah's Witnesses. Now EVERYTHING is Jehovah's Witnesses. Before one could call bethel and the greeting would be "Morning, Watchtower", now it's "Morning, Jehovah's Witnesses."

Actually this site is an offshoot of the old Witnesses Online forum by Obed Fernandez. When things got out of hand and Obed began kicking everyone off, this forum and others that have come and gone were formed. So I've been here since "day one".

1917 Watchtower Schism Documents PDFs
by cabasilas ini've had these items laying around for awhile and thought i'd make pdfs of them.
they are scans of some of the actual documents from the 1917 schism at watchtower headquarters: the dispute between rutherford and 4 members of the board of directors.
as far as i know, these exist as text files on a couple of sites and are also on another site with garish watermarks through them.
