Im wondering how you know that they had no college education. Im not distrusting you, I would just like to be able to tell these young ladies where the information comes from.

I am trying to find out more on the translators of the JW's bible. They claim and so it claims in the front of their bible that it was translated by experts in Greek and Hebrew. What training if any did these people actually have in these ancient languages. I thought I read somewhere that they did the actuall translation not even from the original Greek and Hebrew. maybe that was just a falsehood? These young JW's also claim that ancient texts and writtings for the N.T also used YHWH for God.Short of having these ancient textss in my possesion, how do I prove they do not? Hope you can be of help. No flames please.

And indeed, when I stressed how God had comanded the making of the angels for the Ark, they said they would do some research this week on the Ark and its roll in worshiping. So in other words "Well go ask our elders". So what are some good ways to put doubt in their young minds concerning their elders? I think I may have mentioned that I believe that because of their ages, once I begin to ask questions that are too hard or really put doubt in their minds, mom is going to put an end to it. Mom sits out in the car while they come in! Im not concerned about only having maybe one more visit with them if this happens, I just want to be able to ask the best questions I can and make the best statements that I can.

Im getting the feeling that the JW's dont believe Jesus is the second person in the Trinity. Do they believe in the Trinity? It seems like they think Jesus was ONLY a man. True? Scripture verses to prove his divine nature please? This is not a topic Im familiar with as every Christian I know believes that Jesus was the second person in the Trinity and had a divine nature.

Here is the thing. You want to know how all these verses tie in, read the entire chapters and buy yourself some Scott Hahn tapes because I dont have the time to sit and hold your hand through it all. I told you I wasnt here to debate so please just respect that. I have a family and things to do with my life besides try to prove something to someone that is closed minded.
