Help needed: JC standards/questions for "Drunkenness"

i'm hoping those of you in the jwn community may be able to help me out.

an acquaintance (of legal drinking age) may soon be sitting for jc under the charge of "drunkenness".. to those of you who have direct experience either serving on a jc, or being the subject of a jc related to the misuse of alcohol:.

- could you provide a list of questions that were asked of the accused?.

i get the feeling that there is more to the eve story than we are aware of.. if we look at the patriachal religions, they are very 'anti-woman'.

is this based on their corruption of the bible story.. .

yes, i think there is more to the story of eve, and our the 'origins' than we think.. father god, mother goddess.. .

I guess I'm asking, how do you know that Mitochondrial Eve is not Biblical Eve?

...i might drop in every now and then but i hope you all enjoy life, escape the watchtower(r) and live prosperous lives.. i can't say i contribute much here anyway (and i'm not attention seeking).. i'm just going to get on with life away from the constant reminder of the mistakes i made being a jw zombie drone.. i guess i'm just going to fade.......rather quickly.. of course i didn't need to make any posts here to disappear but i thought it'd be polite and very british to bid you all a fond farewell.. see you all sometime.....maybe.....maybe not.....maybe....... bye!.

Former Longtime Elder : Contributions

for a year now, i have been handling the accounts.

we have 6 elders and 7 ms, and none of them ( i am not serving), want to do the accounts, so they asked me to do it.

here is what i have noticed.. 4 elderly sisters cover the whole congregation in donations monthly!

I think meeting attendance is down everywhere.

Repetitive items, poor teachers, q&a where the answers are already written for you, and the two messages of "do more" and "armageddon's real close".

Not hard to see why the flock is tired and the figures are down.

What Is The "Typical" Elder In The Organization Like Now?

when i was an elder, most of the elders were pretty independent 40 to 80 year olds.

they had no issue speaking up to the circuit overseer.

i wonder what the average elder is like now.

They have been stripped of any serious decision making - their instructions are more detailed and they are more scrutinised.

I see few young (sub 50) elders these days, we have just one in our cong. I see many older (75+) elders who increasingly struggle to understand the new light, fail to keep up with changed procedures, teach coherently or keep good health.

Many are sacrificing their relationships with their wives and children in the continual push to keep doing more.

Today is not a pleasant time to be an elder.
