He did not say that baptism into a religion was necessary, just in the name of the father, son, holy spirit.
Therefore ANY baptism using the method laid down by Jesus is enough to meet the requirement Jesus spoke of.
Next time you attend an assembly or convention, look at the ages of those being baptised as Metatron says, this will tell you where the Soc is focussing its efforts today.

so last night was my weekly bible study with my wife my friend/elder and his wife.
well like many still asleep the first thing that we talked about was what intrested us about the agm..so the elder goes into the things like how exciting it is and loves all the added crap in the appendixes and the info in the front beause its straight from gods word.

so an elder just dropped by my job, completely out of the blue.

he told about annual meerting and grey bible....etc.
At the AGM the GB did NOT say there will be secret instructions in the near future.
This elder was simply using Theocratic Warfare to try to frighten/pressure/entice you back to the meetings.
My bet is that he has been saying this for years with mixed results.

a normal person, upon hearing that a new (or revised) bible translation has been released, would have 2 questions spring to mind almost immediately:.
1) who did the work, and what are their credentials?.
2) what manuscripts is the work based on?.
It suits many to think the GB 'may' have done this or that, 'could' have learned hebrew and greek, 'probably' translated it from the originals (originals????), as this aligns to their preheld adoration of everything GB.
To even consider an alternative would undermine the already shaky belief system that has been built, torn down, repaired and painted over, over the last century.
Unless it is specifically stated by the GB, the next best thing is to conjecture something favourable and put all your trust in that being the most likely thing, and if anyone thinks differently then prove it!

the font used is very similar to a number of others, like tahoma, ms sans serif, and arial etc, so what benefit is there to employing (in the loose sense of the word) a team in japan to create a brand new western set of glyphs?.
will this help with their prosecution of those who copy/paste nnwt verses?.
